I have lived in NYC for about 12 years and also in Europe. I love traveling and taking advantage of all the great things this city has to offer...or trying to, at least. Sense of humor, intelligence and decency are very important to me. I am hoping to find someone smart, attractive and masculine who (for the most part) has his act together. On the other hand, I recognize everyone is a work in progress too.

I would work for an investment management firm. But my life does not revolve around work. I love traveling, reading, movies and trying to work hard while still enjoying a lot of the great things that NYC has to offer. Recently finished an intense week eating vegetarian food at a hiking and yoga retreat on the west coast. It was a new experience for me but very eye opening.

Movies: Keep the Lights On, Forks Over Knives, Batman 3, Warrior, Hannah, Waltz With Bashir, I Am Love, Blade Runner, Old Boy, Donnie Darko, Manhattan, Breaking Upwards, 2046, Let the Right One In, 3 Colors Trilogy.

TV Shows: Breaking Bad, Homeland, Friday Night Lights, Enlightened, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Strangers with Candy, Charlie Rose, Colbert Report...

Music: U2, Sigur Ros, Mumford & Sons, Radiohead, The Avett Brothers, Adele, Jay-Z, Prince, the Killers

Food: all foods, so long as they are not bland or factory farmed
