I am an intelligent, passionate person looking for someone to share
my life with. I tend to be a person of few words at first, but I

What I’m doing with my life
I work in the molecular department of a medical lab in Greensboro.
I test for mutations in patient DNA. I also do Flow Cytometry,
which is the methodology used to monitor treatments of HIV patients
by measuring their different white cell populations. I also screen
patients for leukemia and lymphoma. It's an interesting job.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at trivia. My favorite game is Trivial Pursuit.
I also have a knack for remembering song lyrics. When I am in the
car I am usually singing. I like to learn new things and
can retain knowledge well. I also like to think I am good at being
supportive and helping others.

The first things people notice about me? Physically, I would say my
eyes, my smile, and the curvy areas of my body. The main
non-physical characteristic that people first notice is how quiet I
am. I like to observe others before I interact.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I am ashamed to admit that I am not as well-read as I would like to
be. I have a lot of classics to read. Growing up I loved the book A
Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving. I also like Stephen King
novels.
My movie tastes are wide-ranging. My favorites are Notorious, Gone With the Wind, Gaslight, One Way Passage, The Godfather, Kill Bill, An Affair to Remember, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and The Princess Bride.
My music taste is eclectic. I enjoy listening to music that spans the past six decades. I listen to alternative music mostly. I like bands such as Muse, The Killers, Cold War Kids, etc. I also really like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Genesis.
I like all types of food. My favorites would be Italian, Mexican, and Asian. I love shrimp and crab. Occasionally I love a good medium-rare steak.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about the future. Not just my own. I
often wonder how this country will be in a few years time. I spend
time trying to understand other people and what motivates them. I
think about my own opinions and what experiences and influences
helped shape them. I think of how things can be perfected, and how
I can be perfected.

Right now I'm either hanging around the house or maybe out having
dinner with family or friends. I've been a little reclusive since
my separation. I'm really trying to change that.
