My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Reader of books. Master of all things silly and ridiculous. Theatre and Shakespeare are two of my favorite things. Love classic films, and all things musical. I am also a huge football fan (both English and American: Liverpool and Steelers), and love hiking etc. Life is here to live so I'll try most things once.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it mostly. And having a good time into the bargain. Working at NYU and enjoying it. Applying to Ph.D in Teaching and Learning literacy, because literacy is importante, and needs new and innovative ways to be accessible/understood(sidenote:didn't get in, this time, but the fight for literacy innovation rages on).. I am an Alto, and rock it pretty hard. Mozart is my jam. Or kuglen. Take your pick. Getting ready for my trip to Costa Rica in August.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Many things. Modesty above all.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My infectious laughter.

Books: all Shakespeare, Austen, murakami, woolf, tolkien.
I'm a reader so will read most anything to expand my horizons. I recently read Artful by Ali Smith and now want to read everything she has ever written. Also, finally taking the plunge to read A Song of Ice and Fire.

Movies: holiday, Casablanca, the hours, Harold and Maude, funny face, Sense and sensibility, anything with Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn. Lord of the Rings, princess bride

Shows: 3rd rock from the sun, 30 rock, Seinfeld, Sherlock, Downton Abbey, father Ted, vicar of dibley, AB FAB. Monty python, Blackadder, Jeeves and Wooster

Music: the Beatles, Regina Spektor, pretty much anything that isn't rap, pop or lady gaga

Food: anything that isn't pickled.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) chocolate
2) people I love
3) see number 1
4) books
5) (fountain) pens and paper
6) there is no rule 6
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Chocolate, the nature of the universe, the casualty and causality of history, travel, whatever book I'm reading/ story I'm writing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing something amazing. Even if it's reading with a cup of tea and good music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have six fingers on my right hand.......:).

(Disclaimer: I do not actually have six fingers on my right hand. If you don't get the reference I'm not saying we can't be friends, I'm just saying it'll be an uphill journey).

(Disclaimer to the above disclaimer: please don't take the actual reference too literally.)

Yesterday I found the coat of my dreams. It was love at first button. We are very happy together.
