I am ingenius, eccentric, and hilarious.

My Self-Summary

I'm studying political science, and philosophy. In my spare time I read and write both fiction and nonfiction, go to movies, party with friends, debate pretty much anything, go shopping, patronize the arts, and do whatever fills me with joy.

I enjoy trying new foods, learning about other cultures, and generally trying to explore as much of the world as I can. So far, my favorite big city to explore is Chicago, Il, although Washington DC was pretty nifty too. I've also lived for three months in Friedrichschaffen Germany, on the Lake of Constance (beautiful, simply beautiful).

I'm a big fan of comedy of nearly every sort, which has certainly helped to shape my personality.

Your result for The Which Bond Villain Are You? Test...

Blofeld

73% Intellect and 33% Strength!

You are Ernst Stavro Blofeld! He is probably the most well-known Bond villain, appearing in seven films, played by six different actors. He is the head of the criminal organization SPECTRE. Though physically feeble, Blofeld was brilliant and ruthless, and was responsible for the murder of Bond's wife Tracy in On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

What I’m doing with my life

At the moment, resting from the rollercoaster ride that was finals week at Eureka College. I intend to get a PhD in Political Science and work as a political consultant for HRC or GLAAD. I also want to travel as much of the world as I can possibly manage, experience as many different cultures as possible, and generally explore the natural and manmade beauty of the world.

While working for HRC, I'll probably fill my spare time writing collumns and essays, lecturing at whatever universities will tollerate me, and perhaps even be a guest talking head on political news programs.

I’m really good at

Any of the social sciences. I'm quite cerebral, but in the crazy/funny Pythonesq way, not the dry/boring slit-your-wrists for want of excitement way. I'm also very good at figuring out the people around me, helping them with their relationships, and just generally being a good listener or otherwise helpful. I always know how to make a person laugh. I'm also good for a long, but hilarious rant, if you get me on the right subject (or, just to call a spade a shovel, if I get myself on the right subject).

The first things people usually notice about me

my sense of humour and intelligence and I'm told my facial expressions are priceless. Also, I'm one of those rare people who actually does do double-takes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: American Gods, Small Gods, Freakenomics, The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy, Guns Germs and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies, To Rule the Waves: How the British Navy Shaped the Modern World, How the Scotts Shaped the Modern World, Plato's Symposium, the Meditations of Markus Aurelius

Movies: The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Tu Wong Fu, Shortbus, Zatoichi, Love Actually, Chicago, Casablanca, Fritz Lang's M, Fritz Lang's Furious, Ocean's 11, Noises Off, Gladiator, Monty Python's And Now For Something Completely Different, the original Star Wars Trilogy, Clerks, Clerks II, Dogma, so many more

Music: Rufus Wainwright, Pink, Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Jimmy Buffett, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Bing Crosby, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Liszt, George Gershwin, Johann Sebastian Bach, Carl Phillip Emmanuel Bach

Food: Chinese, Irish, German, Italian, French, Thai, Japanese, Greek, Leboneez

The six things I could never do without

1. My mind
2. My sense of humour
3. My cellular device
4. My friends
5. My books
6. Opportunities to learn, write, have fun, and/or rant.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

man's place in the universe, how crazy conservatives/republicans are, what's going on in the heads of those around me, how to make where-ever I am seem more interesting, what jokes or japes could be made of/in my current location/situation.

On a typical Friday night I am

there is rarely such a creature in my presence as "typical." Typical is an endangered species in my corner of the world. I could be doing any number of things.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Feel free to ask me anything you wish. Chances are very good that I'll tell you.

You should message me if

you want to get to know me. However, if you really want to get to know me, my myspace or facebook are much better means of doing so, as I spend much more time on those sites than I do on this one.
