I've had to stay away from OkCupid for a while, so I'm very sorry for not answering my mails. (They will be answered!) Hopefully I can get back on here soon :)

I've just finished my final year of upper secondary school. I'm planning on taking a year off before uni to work and just "be". Then I hope to study Primary Education at Edinburgh University - I'm really set on becoming a teacher :)

Honestly? Probably my height and that I'm Asian.

Books: I used to have a tendency of only read fantasy books, so I'm looking for good fiction books to read at the moment. Some books that I like:
- The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett
- The Shadow In The Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón
- The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb
- Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami
- Un Lun Dun by China Miéville

I also read manga - Addicted to Curry, Bartender, Change 123 and Team Medical Dragon, to name a few. I also read Naruto, of course 8) (One Piece is better!)

Movies: I hate to admit it, but I don't watch that many movies. I'd like to see more films but I often do other things when I have spare time. Plus it's no fun to watch films by yourself! In any case, some films I like:
- Hayao Miyazaki's films
- LotR: TTT
- The Prestige
- Kill Bill Vol. 1

Music: I am quite open when it comes to music. The overall feel of a melody is the most important to me, and I rarely listen to the lyrics. So, I end up having a odd assortment of musicians on my favourite list xD; Here's a few:

- Bloc Party
- Girugamesh

Food: Don't get me started! xD I love eating, especially in good company. Nothing better than a nice meal with friends :D When planning a trip somewhere, the first thing I check out is local restaurants, haha. Some cuisines I like:

- Japanese
- Cantonese
- Thai
- Modern British
- Indian

What I really need: music, those near and dear, sunshine and time for myself.

Since that's only four things, I guess we could add food and sleep x)

I spend too much time thinking, period. x) Specifically, usually about human behaviour and how we interact with each other.

Taking it easy and resting at home, working at our family restaurant or out with friends.

I give the impression that I'm rational and "tough" at times, but I'm probably a very soft and sensitive girl, even though I don't like to admit it to myself.

Also, I have a pretty foul mouth though those who don't know me well seem shocked when I swear.

If you find me interesting and want to have a conversation. It's unlikely I'll reply if you only write "hi sup" in your mail, though.
