My self-summary
Back living in the Hudson Valley after two years of grad school down in Florida (still figuring out why I came back...). Still trying to find ways to entertain myself in the area, as Red Hood seems to be lacking quite a bit. Let me know if there are any fun activities I may be missing, all I've got going on so far is karaoke on Thursday nights haha

I work a lot. Weird hours, early, late, travel. I'm an athletic trainer, helping college athletes with their injuries and getting them back on the field. My other career is refereeing soccer. The hours I work for both can somewhat put a strain on my leisure time, but I try to enjoy myself during my down time. Playing piano, doing karaoke, hanging out with friends, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as an athletic trainer (not a personal trainer), responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports injuries. I love being outdoors working with sports, with my favorite sport being soccer!

I am also working on advancing my career as a soccer referee, which takes me to many states and over to Europe! If I'm not working as an ATC, I'm probably refereeing somewhere around this country.
I’m really good at
Giving massages, considering becoming a licensed massage therapist in a few years (what's 1 more year of school)

I've been playing piano for 14 years now, so I've become pretty good at that. I've enjoy playing for myself, for friends, receptions, or at church.

Patting my head while rubbing my stomach!
The first things people usually notice about me
Meet me and you can tell me. Though people comment on my eyes/eye lashes a lot (some ask if I wear mascara, and I sort of just stare at them until they realize their stupidity).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love my music books! Not too big into leisurely reading as I usually have massive amounts of articles and textbooks to be reading for class.

I'm a fan of most comedies, movie or tv show. I just like to laugh and make others laugh! I'd much rather settle down with a movie than watch TV though, almost any kind of movie, your pick.

I've recently been watching a lot of Dexter, Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother, and The Big Bang Theory.

Having done musical theatre back in high school, I listen to musicals on occasion, sing in the car, etc. I also enjoy Guns N Roses, Journey, Bon Jovi, Ben Folds, Dave Matthews Band, Jack's Mannequin, Maroon 5, and a bunch of other random bands/artists. I'm usually willing to give any song a listen.

I've also grown to like country music, and I'm a pretty mean linedancer! I'm also down with karaoke!
The six things I could never do without
Family, friends, challenges, laughter, music, love
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Figuring out how to balance my careers.

What the hell is there to do in this area?

How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

If I'll ever get to do theatre again. I really miss being on stage.

And of course the past/present/future of my love life
On a typical Friday night I am
New to the area! Any suggestions? Being in Gainesville has made me fond of country western bars and line dancing, anything like that around here??
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I occasionally listen to my old Hanson CDs, remembering my childhood :-P

I also haven't arm-wrestled since 8th grade after witnessing 2 of my friends arm-wrestle resulting in a spiral fracture of one of their humerus. That sound kind of sticks with you.
