My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm just a regular, every day, normal guy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Finishing my degree in Broadcast Journalism at UH.

Working as a videographer and editor for a national tennis education organization. Freelancing for the Dynamo sometimes. Helping out with short films on the side. Hosting a weekly podcast with my best friend.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Eating pistachios, applying chapstick, killing time, and singing in the car. I'm not saying that I have a good voice.

Also I've learned that I'm really good at not updating this profile. You should probably take this whole page with a grain of salt because there's a chance that it's wildly outdated.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes, the scar on my lip, or my laugh (I've been told I sound like Stanley from The Office. Or the guy at the end of this (great) video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZPSyCXDjdc ).

I also get a lot of "Oh my god, you look like Ryan from The Office!" It gets old but I can't deny the similarities.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - anything by Stephen King or Douglas Adams. Typical guy answer. I also enjoy just about anything by Malcolm Gladwell, but that's less of a guy answer and more of an "I took a sociology class once that had me read Outliers and I've been hooked since" answer. Currently, I'm reading the Wool series (great new Sci-Fi if you're unfamiliar) whenever I get the chance. I love my Kindle.

Movies - This is tough. Instead, I'll give you a list of recently watched and my ratings. Interstellar (3/5). Whiplash (4.5/5), Alien (5/5), Dredd (4.5/5), Rob Zombie's Halloween (3.5/5). I'm bad at updating this, so feel free to ask me for a more current list.

Music - Currently obsessing over 1989. Also listening to The Black Keys, Wilco, The Flaming Lips, The Front Bottoms, The Postal Service.

TV - It's fall so the only TV I watch is football. And I watch a lot of football.

Games - Currently making my way through the Metal Gear Solid series (on MGS 3: Snake Eater). Civilization is probably my favorite franchise. The Last of Us is a masterpiece.

Food - I love Tex-Mex a lot. A whole lot. Sandwiches are super cool.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
- The Internet
- My beard
- My dog, Pax
- Coffee
- Swedish Fish
- Movies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the subject of my next podcast will be. Where to eat.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably netflixing, Montroseing, sleeping, dogwalking, or any combination of those things. Hopefully karaokeing but I haven't found a place I love yet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hate the way my toes look.

...you won't judge me for the whole karaoke thing (which extends to singing in the car (it's a bigger deal than you think)).
