I am driven, easy-going, and geeky.
My Self-Summary
Hi! I'm a software engineer who just moved to the Bay Area. Before
getting here, I had lived in
Texas my whole life. My friends describe
me as smart, humorous, laid-back, and loyal person. I'd rather have
a close circle of friends, than many loose acquaintances. I'm a
geek at heart, so I am very enthusiastic about my job at Apple.
Since I'm new to the area, I would love to meet some new people to
help me explore my new home.
What I’m doing with my life
Now that I'm out of college, I'm getting started on my career as a
software engineer. I love the people and challenges that I
encounter at work. Outside of work, I've been very into going to
the beach in Santa Cruz and playing
beach volleyball on the
weekends. I would also like to take up
rock climbing.
I’m really good at
Sports! (I'm not your typical geek.)
Volleyball,
Soccer,
Basketball,
Football,
Golf,
Running, and
Racquetball.
I also am really good at being there for a friend, teaching, brain
teasers, friendly debating, and remembering quotes from tv/movies.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told that it's my blue eyes.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: "Catcher In the Rye," "One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest,"
"Tale of Two Cities," "I Am America and So Can You"
Movies: "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "The Matrix,"
"Fight Club," "Rushmore," "V for Vendetta," "Zombieland"
Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, Girl Talk, The Decemberists,
Dave Matthews Band, The Offspring, Franz Ferdinand, Cake, Linkin
Park, Jay-Z, No Doubt, Weezer, and pretty much everything but
country music.
Food: Italian Food, Tex-Mex, and any home-cooking.
The six things I could never do without
My family, friends, a sense of belonging, laughing,
macbook, and
iPhone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My planning my future and geeky things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends, either playing
volleyball,
board games, watching
movies, or playing
Rock Band, or going out
on the town.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have at least 5 Justin Timberlake songs on my iPod.
You should message me if
You're smart, geek-friendly, down to earth, and not afraid of
adventures.
