I walk the line between introvert and extrovert, which means that most days I can be up for just about anything. I am easy going, friendly, and am excited about trying new things.

When I look back on the past several years, here is a random selection of moments that stand out:

- Lead climbing for the first time outside
- apple picking with college friends in Minnesota
- night snorkel with GIANT sea turtles on the Great Barrier Reef
- That time I stood in the rain to meet Judi Dench and Maggie Smith
- Autumn sunset in the grand basin at Art Hill
- Climbing to the top of Notre Dame 2 days in a row because once was not enough
- Cabin weekends in northern Wisconsin with friends and family
- Biking the Katy trail to wineries
- Being cornered by a llama at Machu Piccu
- Bungee Jumping in New Zealand
- Weekly dinner and movie nights with the friends

Lots of work (ER resident), raising a baby puppy alongside 2 cats, trying to maintain composure in public with varying levels of success and/or exuberant arm gestures. Also all the fun stuff: friends, reading, going out(side), travel (this summer made it to WI x 2, MN x 2, NYC with NYC again, UK, carribean and hawaii on the distant and not so distant horizon.

My inner poise. They may get distracted by the excited clapping and wild arm gestures in times of excitement or emergency, but I'm still going with inner poise.

Too many books to count. My last read was Bel Canto.

Favorite movie of the summer was Batman

Favorite TV show of the summer was True Blood (closely followed by the Newsroom)

Favorite food is anything I don't have to cook myself.

Favorite fall sports team: Green Bay Packers

How to overcome worst case scenarios. Most pertain to work, but I do have a plan for when the zombie apocalypse hits....

Equally possible: out on the town (movies, dinner, theater, concerts), out of town, at work, or curled up in bed with a glass of wine and a good book.
