I am rebellious, conservative, and often torn between t.

My Self-Summary

Thanks to those who prompted me to write something... yes steamed icecream... I guess it may have seemed a tad pretentious to have a photo with no words! My apologies. And to the other person who asked... I think I was playing the Dandy Warhols 'good morning'. Or it may have been the Bach prelude no.1. Cant remember.

Im a little clunky for a gorgeous, elegant chick I guess. Dichotomies. Complexities. Im very simple actually. Will that do?

What I’m doing with my life

Playing the piano of course. Also being a mum right now.
I am a conservationist. I like clear streams and waterfalls. And habitats protected. Old growth properly valued. Sustainability values. I have a garden. Im pretty serious for a party animal.

I’m really good at

this is where lazy non-perfectionists struggle a bit isnt it?

Not enough things I could be. But as my dear old sublimely optimistic dad used to say... The story is not over yet.

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

what again?
Dont you get tired of this question??

Just all the good stuff... thats what I like.

OK. Darjeeling Limited. fresh, zesty simple food. (and wine) Air, The Dolly rocker Movement, Chopin and... the poems of the romantics. Wordsworth and Coleridge. And Shantaram. And Tim Winton. And.........................................................................
is that a good start?

The six things I could never do without

Trees, the ocean, (or at least knowing its there) a fireplace, and my 1000 count sheets.
Ok thats only four. Alright, Spring, and Autumn. And Winter. and summer too I guess.
And the miracles that are momentary, like when gum trees bloom dripping nectar indecently and glowing with super sexy right nowness... a perfect iris, or danelion, or the calendulas in early spring. I guess I could never do without a garden. Or at least the thought of one. And trees. Yes, trees.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

yeah.... not sitting in front of the computer and going to practice piano instead.

On a typical Friday night I am

On one or other or both keyboards. Or in front of gardening Australia and the fire with a good Australian wine to ponder, or the annual re-run of Lord of the rings or Darjeeling Limited with a cup of tea, or even occasionally something different (I said occasionally). I dont like gloomy police/suspense telly on friday nights. Thats what I DONT like. Give me Chopin, and shiraz or.....

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Im ridiculously nieve for one so brash and cynical.

You should message me if

you probably shouldnt cause Im rude and unreliable for such a nice girl.
