I am somewhat spontaneous and enjoy the outdoors. I love to watch movies, go hiking, fishing, and exploring. I am a civil engineer and not just by profession, I was one of those kids who always built things with legos and I’ve always been fascinated by bridges, dams, tunnels, etc. I enjoy going on random road trips to random places or sometimes to where ever that particular road travels to.

I moved to Washington in June 2008 from Michigan to work for the DOT. After moving here I wonder where this wonderful place has been my whole life. I’ve also taken a liking to hiking. I’m working on getting into good enough shape to go back to Michigan to hike the North Country Trail within Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with my family and would like to climb Mt. Baker in the next couple years. I’m also hoping to get into kayaking and running.

I am shy at first, but once I find my niche I am outgoing. College forced me to go outside of my comfort zone and take the lead on things that I could have never pictured myself doing before that. My family and friends are very important to me, even though most of them are now very far away.

My ideal match is someone who is intelligent, funny, romantic, can communicate, and will stand their ground if they believe in something. I want someone to go fishing, hiking, and exploring with and someone to stay at home some nights and watch a movie.

I am a transportation engineer currently working on hydraulic design. I'm hoping to get into inspection and geometric design.

movies: the notebook, the nightmare before christmas, dogema, donnie darko

music: rock, pop, a little of everything, esp. linkin park, disturbed, korn, aerosmith, dire straits, toad the wet sprocket etc

food: italian and mexican

family, friends, technology, mountains, large bodies of water, fresh fruit

why people do the things that they do. what animals are thinking.
