Too much peace and quiet causes me to be antsy, you know that feeling like you gotta do something. But neither can I live without my serenity and harmony either.
All work and no play makes jack a dull boy. I balance my workaholic tendencies (I don't give up easily combined with fierce concentration) equally with playing hard. And play is fundamental in my daily life. Take dumb chores, maybe ill organize stuff to make it look like art, and then you get cross eyed looks from family thinking your on something. You know that time you stacked cups like a pyramid.
As the day transpires you get those weird knots, your all tangled up. So time to unwind make rhymes and watch movies and dine. Or take a really super ultra slow grandpa style walk through the park. Or Maybe feed the birds and squirrels while sitting on some rocks you climbed trying to figure out how to get down. I'm a nature nut, so the grandpa walk through the park is one of my favorites. One time I accidentally ate lunch under an osprey's nest that was up high. And I watched it hunt. So amazing.
Also my nose gets stuck in nonfiction books a lot. Those would be in psychology, philosophy, mathematics, physics, physiology.
If you haven't noticed, really if you haven't there is something wrong there, I am a fitness enthusiast. I chose gymnastic style workouts since I like to workout anywhere and every where. If there's a ledge ill probably do a handstand push up on it, or a bridge. The bridge took a long time to build the courage for, phewwwww talk about scary. And I want to continue to do this style of exercise into my old years.
Music has a huge role in my life, when I was younger I remember thinking I'm tired of playing other peoples music, let's make my own. I once composed a whole piece in 16 hours straight, remember I said fierce concentration. And ever since then Its always been my shadow. Always there with me.
Oh yeah, almost forgot, gotta love those retro games and board games, sega genisis, super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gameboy. Way more fun then today's games. Except for elder scrolls.
