My self-summary Propose an edit

I'm a very laid back and honest person who is often chasing creative goals. I have a quirky sense of humour and enjoy talking about anything and everything. I'm shy and introverted around new people. Around friends i can be quite extroverted however (even without the inhibition removing device known as alcohol). I don't react well with crowds. Masses of people tend to wig me out a bit (yep, wig).

I spend my time drawing cartoons, playing guitar, writing, watching DVDs, listening to music and playing video games. I also enjoy going for walks and drives. When the occasion presents itself, i enjoy hiking, especially in a forest of some sort. Nature has a very calming effect on me. I think it centers me somewhat. I also enjoy conversation over coffee.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

It's almost a new year so i thought i'd update this somewhat.

I'm almost a year into a Bachelor of Computer Games at Bond University. I have been doing quite well so far.

I've been kicking around a new comic book project for a while and plan to make some headway on that in the coming year.

I also plan to make a New Years resolution to play my guitar daily again so i can improve quite substantially.

At the moment i am unemployed. It sucks. Money would be nice.

Drawing, conversation and coming up with bad jokes.

I'm not bad at making faces and imitating cartoon voices either.

Books - The Discworld series, Sherlock Holmes and Stephen King (reading the Dark Tower at the moment). I enjoy a lot of fantasy and sci-fi, though read non-fiction too.

Movies - The Maltese Falcon is my favourite movie. I have varying other tastes. I love most traditional animation and a lot of comedy. I'm a sucker for a good television series too.

TV - The Simpsons, Futurama, Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Babylon 5, Saturday Night Live, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Red Dwarf, MST3K, Scrubs, Boston Legal...

Music - The Presidents of the United States of America, X Japan, Rush, Regurgiator, R.E.M., They Might be Giants, System of a Down, The Beatles, David Bowie, Genesis, Iron Maiden, The Offspring, Weird Al Yankovic...

Food - Octopus is my favourite food. Eel too. I eat at a lot of Japanese restaurants. I also like BBQ ribs a lot. Pizza is good too.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

Well i overthink a lot. I think about philosophy and faith. I think of jokes and little exchanges of dialogue that might be funny with the right setup. I think of how things might go in the future or how people might have reacted to something different in the past. I think about my comic and animation projects. I think of a lot of ideas, practical or not. Of course all this is when i don't have a song stuck in my head.
