My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Easy going and authentic - I seek the same in the in places I go and the people I spend my time with. My idea of a good time is finding those places a bit off of the beaten path for a meal, a drink, or some special place outdoors on the greenbelt or the lake. I love to travel too and enjoy the edge of a new place - even better if it includes a new culture to experience. My tendencies lean toward the light and optimistic, but I enjoy a deep debate as long as it's broken up with good laughs in between.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I love to get out on and experience whatever the world might have to have to offer that particular day or evening, so you won't find many TV shows listed on my profile.
Then there is that thing that provides me a certain... lifestyle. I do consulting for local tech company and I'm working toward starting up a software business. My work is challenging, but I don't let it overtake me. Get that stuff done and back to the fun. Balance is golden.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Lots of things! Creative and intuitive, I find my instincts are usually right. Of course I might have to circle back later to understand the actual facts behind it. It's always intriguing to explore and have a conversation to find that common ground for a connection or insight.
To be more specific: Happy to host a party, you might find me cooking, bar tending drinks, playing my guitar, and keeping things light.
The first things people usually notice about me

Do people really tell you that?
I've been told I'm confident, intelligent, blah, blah, blah. Seems like an awkward thing to ask someone new. "Hey what do you notice about me?"
Perhaps a tendency to question the status quo - including OKC questions. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like thought provoking insightful books with varied topics - from the spiritual simple insights of Thich Nat Hahn to decoding cultural trends like Malcolm Gladwell's books…
Movies, shows, & music - the more local and varied he better... It is Austin and one need only walk down the street for a good show and music.
Movies - just saw Into the Wild again the other night. Great thought provoking movie... Ending quote after all his great solitary adventures. "happiness is best shared." Guess that might be why I have this profile here...
OK - a little TV - breaking bad and game of thrones are just great story telling.
Good food is a must - my Mom is a really good cook, and a lifelong appreciation was born. You can find me most Saturday mornings loading up on whatever is in season at the farmer's market. My fridge is always full of possibilities to make on any given evening.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good Laughs
My Kids
Good Food
Fun friends
Affection - all that warm fuzzy stuff...
Time in nature
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Thinking is overrated.
Better off being in the moment and as attentive as possible to the here and now. Too easy to miss the good stuff if you get caught up longing for some imagined future or the contemplating the past. Easier said than done, but worth the effort.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Enjoying time with friends and or family
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Isn't that best to talk about in person?
