My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hmm, what should I put here? Lets start with some basics: I'm a laid back, low maintenance, world traveling, down to earth, passionate gamer-geek that's hoping to find his partner in crime. I'm typically a wallflower in any big social setting, but warm up pretty quickly. I'd probably prefer hanging with a few close friends at home to getting hammered at some gay club, but the latter can be fun once in a blue moon too.

I have moved around a bit over the last few years; from NYC to the Bay Area to a 6 month stint in Los Angeles and now I have just made it back to NY in July '14. I finished college studying film production in SF and just really, really didn't like living in LA. The men of LA just look so perfectly sculpted and polished, constantly making me feel like a weed in a really gay rose garden, and those roses have some thorns! For the record, I'm not fishing for compliments. I do believe I'm a good looking guy with plenty of substance, but I feel like I'm no match against Chase Thornsmith (some generic white guy I just made up) and his abs that are like that of Jesus and chiseled face of a Greek God. Perhaps I should just shut up? Yeah... Let's do that.

Also! For those out there who know their Jung or Myers-Briggs types, I'm a textbook "INFJ".
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Aside from desperately looking for work in TV/Film Production, I'm working on producing/directing a web series called "Gaymers" that's about... Well, gay gamers! It has been a lot of fun and I'm anxious to debut it on the interwebs at some point later in the year. If you are interested in getting involved in any way, please inquire within! Also, I have been consumed with Final Fantasy XIV these days... Someone, save me!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Navigating, give me a map and I'll be able to find the most efficient way to get us from point A to point B in no time.

Conversation, I may be an introvert but you will learn quickly that I have a lot to say.

Understanding people, I love connecting with others, especially people from different cultures.

I can make a mean tomato basil soup which I like to use for dipping a delicious grilled chicken or turkey sandwich in. I know, I'm so white.

I love kids, and I like to think I'm really good with them.

Playing video games, I can probably kick your ass (yes you!). Oh and yes, I trash talk.

Telling stories, I often wonder if it's because I have a tendency to over dramatize things or because I've just had a lot of crazy sh*t happen to me.

**Disclaimer** If you are reading my profile in its entirety then you know that I'm an aspiring film maker. Although some of my favorite films aren't obscure art house flicks, I like to think that I still have good taste in movies ;)

Movies: The Dark Knight, All About Eve, Shaun of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs The World (any Edgar Wright movie, really), Samsara, The Woman in The Dunes, Mean Girls, 500 Days of Summer, Children of Men, Momento, Inception, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Star Wars 4-6, Moonrise Kingdom, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, Bridesmaids, The Strangers (I LOVE scary movies), Friday the 13th 1-4, A Nightmare on Elm Street 1, 3 & 4.

TV Shows: Bob's Burgers (recent addiction), 30 Rock (forever my favorite), Parks and Rec, Game of Thrones, Fringe, Battlestar Galactica, Project Runway, Tosh.0, The LA Complex, Six Feet Under, Dexter, Chuck, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, South Park, Ugly Betty, Arrested Development, Summer Heights High (Brownie points if you have seen this show)

Music: Just about everything! Not too big on metal or rap though. Temper Trap, Local Natives, Susanne Sundfør, Woodkid, Goldfrapp, Feist, Florence and The Machine, Muse, Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club, Coldplay, Bloc Party, Muse, Lykke Li, Adele, Lady Gaga, Radiohead, Sound of Arrows, John Legend.

Books: Not much of a reader but I'm in love with the "A Song of Ice and Fire" books, The Fault in Our Stars... I was going to throw in some more book titles to make myself appear like some interesting connoisseur of literary arts but, eh, who am I kidding?

Video Games: Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon (yep, I'm a 28 year old that just admitted to STILL play Pokemon), most 1st party Nintendo games, Final Fantasy XIV (along with a lot of the previous, non-MMO entries in the franchise), Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect (2 was the best!), Shadow of The Colossus, Mortal Kombat (the reboot is AWESOME!).. You get the idea. Not too fond of sports or racing games unless "Mario" is somewhere in the title.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This is a tough one, in no particular order:
1 - Music; fuels my imagination and creative process.
2 - Friends; since I don't have the best relationship with my family, my friends are very important to me.
3 - Traveling; Never let go of that child-like wonder you can only truly experience when traveling and exploring new and familiar places. I live for that sense of adventure.
4 - Cinema; I'm a natural born storyteller and have a genuine love for all kinds of ways film makers and artists tell theirs.
5 - Water; Yes, regular, unsweetened water. Can't get enough of it.
6 - Heart-to-hearts; I love losing myself in a really interesting conversation about anything; religion, politics, life, the moon, an episode of some trashy reality show, ANYTHING!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. My brain is always working. If there's ever any outcome to anything, I probably have thought about it at one point or another. It's a double edged sword... Much like the one Mickey Rourke tried to kill me with. (bonus points if you get this reference!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, watching a movie at home or doing a game night with my room mates, maybe going to a dive bar. Nothing too crazy. I'm not a heavy drinker and certainly not a party "boy" (side-note: If you consider yourself any kind of "boy", we probably wouldn't mesh well in a romantic capacity)

In the dating that I have done, I have come to realize that I just don't have the desire to keep up with someone who is out clubbing regularly. I'd much rather watch a good movie, cuddle up after having a home cooked dinner. Blah blah blah, you get the idea.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an open book, but I think that some stories are best reserved for a heart-to-heart ;)
