I am honest, caring, and a Christian.
My Self-Summary
OK, I am new at this, so please be patient with me. I am divorced
with 3 grown children and 2 grandbabies who mean the world to me.
This is my first adventure back out in the dating world since my
divorce two years ago. I am pretty laid back and easy going, but if
something is really important to me, I can be pretty stubborn. I am
told that I have a great personality and that I am a good listener.
I try to always see the good in a situation and am usually a pretty
positive person. God is a must in my life, and while I don't try to
push my beliefs on others (that is between them and God) I am
hoping to meet someone with the same beliefs as mine. Oh, and I am
a dog fanatic, so if you don't like dogs, I am probably not for
you.
What I’m doing with my life
I work a full time job that I like (most of the time...lol) and I
am attending school, working on a business degree. I also work a
part time, seasonal job at tax time. I stay pretty busy, which is
party why I haven't entered the dating world as of yet. I am trying
to start putting some time aside for my personal life, so we will
see how that goes.
I’m really good at
hmmm...this is a hard one for me. I am great at listening and not
judging. I am a people person, does that count? lol. As far as
things, like sports and stuff, I don't have any real talents. I
enjoy dancing, and bowling but I wouldn't say I was very good at
them. I am usually the entertainment :-).
The first things people usually notice about me
I will have to ask some people! Maybe my smile? I usually smile at
everyone.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
OK, this one I can answer! I will read just about anything, but my
favorites are things on history, religion and facts about local
places. And I have to admit to occasionally reading a mystery
romance. I like comedies and movies based on true stories. I listen
to a variety of music, but I would have to say Christian, country
and 80's are my favorites. As far as food goes, I like a little bit
of everything (unfortunately...lol) but I am kind of picky so we
will have to discuss that one later.
The six things I could never do without
God, my family, my friends. OK, I only have three. Unless you
include air, food and water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I mostly think about my kids and grandkids and their futures. I try
not to do a lot of thinking, it usually just brings on
anxiety...lol. I try to just live in the present.
On a typical Friday night I am
Home. I am usually either doing homework, babysitting a grandchild,
or relaxing. This is why I need a life! lol.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Well...I guess that I am just a wee bit stubborn at times and maybe
just a teeny little bit hard to live with. I've been told it's the
Irish in me. ;-).
You should message me if
You are a Christian (you don't have to be totally absorbed in a
church, just have strong beliefs in God) and if you are willing to
take things slow. I am looking for my best friend who will become
my partner in life.
