My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So I'm a conservative gay--and the older I get, the more I realize that's pretty unusual, especially given that the general population seems to have forgotten what it means to be a conservative (it doesn't mean being a Republican and it doesn't mean being against gay rights!) I seem to have an easier time than most accepting that I may not meet others expectations, and that doesn't really bother me any (unless it's my boss!) I'm quick-witted, sarcastic, laid-back, fun-loving, and intellectual. I prefer people with some quirks--just not too many! I'm a realist and can't stand whiners or the utopia lovers. Life is what it is: let's make the most of it!

I am talkative, discerning, and varied
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just finished my MBA, so now begins the process of figuring out how best to USE it. I currently work in the Quality Improvement Department for UMHS, and also as a communications consultant and trainer on the side. In my spare time, I'm active with the Jaycees, and am the business manager for a local men's choir called "Measure for Measure."
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Entertaining, socializing, conversations, meeting people, trivia, singing, debate, shopping, fashion, talking...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Spiky hair and funky shoes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harry Potter, The Catch Trap, The Power of One, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, A Murder in the Cathedral, Freakonomics, anything by Robert Jordan, David Eddings, or Terry Brooks.

Movies: I love going to the movies, and make it a goal every year to see all of the Best Picture nominees. Some favorites: Contact, Avatar, Slumdog Millionaire, Atonement, Hairspray, Harry Potter, Little Miss Sunshine, The Queen, Moulin Rouge, Lord of the Rings, X-Men, Capote, Brokeback Mountain, High School Musical, The Bourne Trilogy.

Music: I like esoteric stuff like Kate Bush and Jeff Buckley, love listening to good classical music that I can conduct in my living room with whatever miscellaneous object is most handy, and I enjoy most popular music. If it has a good beat, is singable, and doesn't sound like distorted garbage, I probably like it. However, I'm horrible at remembering lyrics--unless, of course, it's a song I don't like.

Food: Well, I like food. Polish, Italian, and French heritages kind of took over while growing up, and my mom was an excellent cook, so, I LOVE food is probably more accurate. I think going to a great restaurant and trying something new can be a fun social experience. Food is meant to be enjoyed: someone needs to hurry up and develop that pill so we can eat what we want and not have to worry about it!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Great shoes, my iPad, my wallet, a water bottle, music, and time.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What motivates people...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the movies or out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't think I could ever have too many pairs of shoes--its my biggest vice.
