My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I express myself best in pictures.

I'm from Wisconsin, born and raised. Spent a long, smog-filled year in L.A. before moving back to Madison for work. I randomly break out in a British or Scottish accent. I digress....I'm probably more old-fashioned that most girls my age. I like to wear wellies & fleece and take early morning pictures in the autumn mist.

Dates I like:
Apple orchard, action or drama movies, sporting events (tennis, swimming, football, soccer, baseball), farmer's markets/antique markets, corn maze, picnics, anything on a boat, a long chat on the Memorial Union terrace, staying in and renting a movie (+ building a pillow fort?), museums (esp. natural history), outdoor concerts, RenFair, dog parks!, swimming, hiking, dancing [poorly], zoo, overdosing on history & nature documentaries. The list goes on and on. Oh the fun we could have! =D
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Filling in the question marks
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pointing out ridiculously cute kittens. It's a tough task, but somebody's got to do it. I've honed my loud squee through years of dedicated practice.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm pretty skinny and shy but sweet =)

Jane Austen, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Frankenstein, A Tale of Two Cities, action movies, Braveheart, Underworld, Drive, The Walking Dead, Revenge, Breaking Bad, 007 films, Dexter, Jeopardy, Nature/Nova, This Old House, Sherlock, national/local news, Antiques Roadshow, Game of Thrones, Drunk History. Batman/Superman Adventures. Scooby-Doo (original). Tim Burton films.

Marina and the Diamonds, Mozart, Diplo, Portland Cello Project, Celtic. I'm eclectic.

Raw/vegetarian food, nuts & seeds, veggies, fishies, Caribbean cuisine is delicious

I'm more than likely into your geekish pursuits, and I won't judge your interests unless they are harmful to yourself and/or others.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, fair weather, balance, a closet full of dresses, escaping to nature, adventures big and small
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having a relaxing dinner al fresco. I really love the fresh air. And great food ;-)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not exactly private but pretty cool: I've held a real Academy Award.

*And since it is asked so much: it was won by Walt Disney and no, I don't remember for what. I was too enthralled by the 8.5lbs. of film iconography sitting in my hands to listen to the archivist.

2. You accept yourself and are respectful to others.
3. You get what the best kind of humor is.
4. Going to Comic-Con was ever on your list of great ways to pass a weekend.
