I have the most amazing wife ever (found through OkCupid!) so friends only, please.

I believe in emotional consistency. I believe in spontaneous fun. I am optimistically realistic. I look up: words in the dictionary, information online, to groovy people, at the sky, trees, buildings. I LOATHE mayonaise. Feminism isn't a dirty word in my world.

I'm really good at listening, talking like a stereotypical gay male, spastic dancing, expounding on literature, playing (druken) Trivial Pursuit, overanalyzing, emitting totally bizarre noises, reading out loud, introducing non-sequiturs and random bits into conversations, being a huge transit geek, talking LOUDLY, arguing passionately and alienating everyone, being genuinely nice yet capable of catty commentary, and shopping (it's a skill, people!). I also have what I have christened "Hair ESP," which basically means if there is a loose hair in my immediate vicinity I can detect it instantly, then remove it. Thank god I'm not OCD or anything, smiles.

Ok, straw poll says: my ass, the directness of my gaze, the vociferousness of my opinions, the intensity of my smile, my decibel level, and the assertiveness of my strut. I say: my gender, my race, my class, my age.

But really: The fact that my wife and I can't seem to stop touching. Ever.

FOOD: Sushi definitely tops the list, with everything else running a close second: Thai, Ethiopian, Mexican, Burmese, French, Italian, Korean, Vietnamese, Continental, Indian, Tibetan, Indonesian, soy in myriad forms...I think Thai renders Chinese utterly obsolete (apologies to anyone Chinese, but seriously, have you tried Thai?)

Why I have a hard time staying in touch with friends and how I can remedy the situation.
