My self-summary Propose an edit
Transplanted myself here from BC a few years ago. Went to school,
finished, spent a year working, writing, and adding to my
demo reel.
Now I'm back in school at the Royal Conservatory, taking music
history, as well as some theory courses.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Presently self employed (!= unemployed) getting my company off the ground.
Primarily work as a producer/engineer, but music for film is my
main love. Sadly, this doesn't pay the bills as yet, so I whore
myself as best I can.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
More than likely my tragic facial hair. Norwegian heritage coupled
with a horribly misguided wager leaves me with a chin & lip
full of blond mess.

Sadly, the majority of my literary endeavours revolve around tech
manuals & industry mags these days. However, a few of my
favorite authors would include: Douglas Adams, Orwell, China Mieville, Proust, Kafka, Richard Dawkins etc.
Film:
This list would likely be longer than my music list, if I let it.
Suffice it to say, a broad range. As of late, I've rediscovered a
love of the spaghetti western! Off the top of my head, Woody Allen,
Lynch, Aronofsky, Hitchcock, Cronenberg, Kurosawa, Polanski, John Woo, Nolan, would all be high on my list of
writers/directors.
Film aside, I'm a bit of a nerd for science/nature docs. Presently
hooked on BBC's "the
secret life of plants". Aching to watch Planet Earth but am
resisting until I have a TV to do it justice.
