My self-summary
Hi there. I'm a colorist and artist that works part time for High Evolution Studios, a small comic book company based in the Lehigh Valley, PA. (Yes, we're on facebook!) I also work as a security guard in a high school environment (but I'm not at liberty to say which one online.) Finally, I am also a Radio show host on WXLV 90.3 FM. Currently, my music show, "The Saturday Shark Attack," airs every Saturday between 4-7pm, and it's available online.
My friends will tell you that I'm an idealist and a dreamer. I believe this is true. I tend to try and find the silver lining in bad situations, and joy in the simple things in life. I'm big on trying to leave this world a better place than it was when I got here, and I think that the key to doing so is to educate younger people.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently a colorist for Craig "The Old School Bogart" Blake, a comic book artist who owns High Evolution Studios. I'm going to be releasing my first children's comic book very soon, (hopefully at Wizard World Philadelphia 2012) and I'm looking forward to see what customer reaction is. I'm not doing it for the money, but because this has been a dream of mine since childhood. Other comics will follow after that, because I have no intention of giving up on my dream once I've finally achieved it!
I have other projects on back burners, like novels, and podcasts, etc. I'll get to them in due time, but for now, I'm focused on the comic books.

Outside of the comic books, I'm not really looking to do more than start a family and live comfortably. I don't care if I never make $100 grand a year, as long as I have a family who's needs are met. I know it's not a grandiose ambition, but it's an honest one.

I’m really good at
Improv. Thinking on the fly. I enjoy acting, writing, and anything that generally let's me tell a story, thus the desire to make comic books and novels. I am a talker, but I'm good listener too. I'm not too shabby at digital art, and I'm eclectic in my musical tastes. I like to try new things and keep my life varied but I try to keep some semblance of a routine to keep myself from erupting into chaos, discord, and hysteria. I'm also good at being the voice of reason when the pressure is on. I have a strong measure of common sense. I like to think I'm pretty good a reading people and empathy. I usually understand why people do the things they do, and I'm excellent as a communicator.

The first things people usually notice about me
Apparently, my eyes. I've been told I have extremely expressive eyes. One can supposedly tell exactly what I'm thinking by looking me in the eyes. That and my unshakable confidence. I'm extremely difficult to upset, embarrass, or anger. I'm very laid-back and extremely tolerant, so you'd likely wear yourself out if you tried to upset me. I've been accused of being cold and emotionally void, but I think it's because I make an effort to maintain control and actually talk/think out the problem. I think that communication and honesty are the keys to a successful relationship with anyone, lover, friend, or otherwise, and I treasure the important people in my life over all else.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A) The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. If you haven't read these books, you really are missing out. They're brilliant. Truly a fun read.

The Sword of Truth Saga by Terry Goodkind now a TV series called The Legend of the Seeker by Sam Rami who made the Spiderman films. So far I think it's crap, but the books rock.

The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb although this does include the two following trilogies The Liveship Traders and The Golden Fool. Very well written and a bit different among fantasy fiction. A little homo-erotic I suppose, but hey, I like Torchwood too, so whatever.

Vampire Earth series by E.E. Knight Like one critic said, "It's like 'the Red Badge of Courage,' if it was written by H.P. Lovecraft." No lie, it really is.

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling Yes, I like the Harry potter books. Sue me.

I also enjoy books by Michael Crichton, Terry Brooks, Stephen King, Sergei Lukyanenko, Glenn Cook and the list goes on. And on. And on. Etc.

B) Difficult to give one specific. Ask me in regards to the Genre. I will always be a fan of MST3k, and their successors, Rifftrax, The Film Crew, and Cinematic Titanic

C) Again too many to choose from. I listen to a lot of everything. And i mean everything. (I used to be a wedding DJ. You learn to like everything.) Currently I've been listening to Muse, Ben folds, The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Richard Cheese, Johnathan Coulton, Korn, System of a Down, Eminem, Radiohead, Snow patrol, nightwish, Northern Kings, Audioslave, Pearl Jam, Afro Celt Sound System, A Perfect Circle, Poets of the Fall and again the list goes on. All things considered, I'm familiar with a lot more music than I actually know. I guess I retain it subconciously or something.

D) Japanese Curry Rice dishes will always hold a place in my heart, though I've yet to find a place here in the US that makes a good one. Please let me know if you find one resonably close to Allentown, PA. Also Sushi, Macaroni and cheese, Grilled Cheese, Cheerios, and mixed veggies, are tasty to me. I tend to stay away from Soda, and fruit flavored ice cream.

E) Almost forgot shows. I'm big on Doctor Who, and most other sci-fi type shows. I enjoy anime that is well done like Full Metal Alchemist or Hellsing or anime that can make me laugh like Tenchi Muyo, or Vandread. I also am kind of a big kid, so I will watch shows like Adventure Time, Regular Show, or even Gumball. I'll watch a lot of stuff on Adult Swim unless it's too far into the stoner humor, which usually loses me.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Weird stuff. The deeper meaning behind films I've seen or books I've read. How I live my life. How I can improve myself as a person. What I can do to help others or at least make their lives more pleasant. How my friends whom I haven't heard from are doing, and when I can arrange to visit them.

On a typical Friday night I am
With friends, out partying, or podcasting, or maybe just chilling out. I do have my projects to fall back on too, and if all else fails, a good book or mind-numbing video games.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I have no secrets. There are topics I don't care to discuss, but if asked about them directly I will answer honestly. Don't believe me? Try it. Ask me anything you like.

I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22–39
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
You're looking for someone stable, ambitious, intelligent, confident, and appreciative, I'm that guy. I am not a doormat, a taxi service, a money tree, a therapist, or a "white knight."
I only hang with people I can consider a friend above all else, and if that sounds like a good starting point to you, then we should definitely talk, and see where we go from there.
