I'm in school for writing (Fiction and Creative Non-Fiction) and it's pretty much my life right now. I love it.

I'm pretty outdoorsy. I looove sailing and running and camping. Seriously absolutely love camping, and canoe trips. Anything water related really! I think a camping trip somewhere deep in the backcountry would be the most romantic thing.

I'm also a hopeless romantic - or at least that's how I've been described. I like writing things for people and playing songs on my guitar and all that cheesy stuff.

Almost done my undergrad in creative writing - and by almost done, I mean I have a year left part-time, so I'm slowly transitioning into the real world.

I work at a daycare and a children's camp during the summer. Pretty much every job I've ever had has been working with kids or instructing kids/adults in different things (sailing, guitar, leadership). Hoping to get a job at a bookstore here in Victoria next year, or something equally bookish.

I have no idea, I should ask them. I get a lot of compliments on my hair though. Probably because it's so Beiberish.

I read a lot and pretend to be sophisticated about it, but really I'm into a variety of things from contemporary best sellers to no-names to classics to young adult. I read mostly fiction and creative non-fiction (memoirs, personal essays, etc). I can't narrow it down to authors since I read so many different ones, but some of my favorite books are The Way the Crow Flies, Fall on Your Knees, Middlesex, Fight Club, The Hunger Games (ALL of them), Harry Potter (that goes without saying of course), 1984, anything by Douglas Coupland, and a crapload of others that I can't think of right now.

The same goes for movies and music and food - I like such a variety of things that getting into it would crowd my profile. So if you want to know more, just ask me :)
