My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Poet. Filmmaker. (Canadian) dork. Likes trees, social justice and feminism. Likely to ruin nice photos.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm presently an exchange student studying creative writing in East Anglia. My focuses of study back are poetry, fiction, and film production.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm pretty good at writing, and I can hold my own in a political discussion. I think I have a pretty good grasp of gender and oppression politics but, of course, there's still tons to learn.

Also competent at carpentry, and cooking meals that blow the minds off of non-vegetarians. And a silly walk champion.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
One, a pen (or pencil), and two, paper.
Three: tea, earl grey, hot.
Four, my multitool, and five, twine or string.
Six, finally, my cat. She's awesome. (Which is to say, I probably miss my cat more than is healthy for an adult, because she's back in Canada.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think a lot about feminist theory and colonialism (don't worry, I'm not an MRA!) Also, how I'm going to pull off a career as a writer. Also also, "holy shit, the universe!"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?

You want to make fun of my ridiculous Canadian accent. Maybe talking about poetry and social issues seems like a good conversation over tea to you—or you think that's awful, and want to ridicule me. I'm game.
