My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a published poet, a social activist, a nerd, and a vegetarian. I'm also kinda stupid.

I am a firm believer in free expression, especially through the arts. I dabble (horribly) in several instruments, and I'm passable with the written word.

I enjoy a good deal of outdoor pursuits. I love to cycle, hike, camp, and canoe, and I'm always ready to take on another challenge. But I'm also pretty nerdy, so I guess it all balances out.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm presently pursuing a Creative Writing degree at the University of Victoria. I'll probably double major with Political Science. As befitting the program, I write poetry and some fiction.

Otherwise I spend my days listening to miscellaneous music, reading, drinking stupid amounts of Earl Grey tea and frequenting poetry readings.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, political rhetoric, and vegetarian cooking. I also moonlight as a superhero.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my long hair, although I get compliments on my eyes, even my teeth as well.

I get called fun stuff like Eurotrash, hippie, idealist, and beatnik. Make of that what you will.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Art of all forms,
Something to write with and on,
Freedom of choice/expression,
The natural world,
One or all of my vital organs (read: dumb jokes),
Intellectual debate--I can't function without mental stimulation!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Poetry, the existential crisis of being, liberalism and associated political theory, patriarchy and misogyny, the french language, and whatever I'm reading.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I disapprove of "typical."
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
