I am the key, the rose, and the unfound door.
My Self-Summary
I'm not entirely comfortable with self-promotion...and there's so
much more to me than what I can write here...but here goes
*lol*
I'm quick to laugh, slow to anger and reluctant to judge.
I'm a nurturer, a caregiver; I care deeply, love profoundly, and am
fiercly devoted to those I love.
I am positive, proactive and addicted to hope. =) Nothing keeps me
down for long, I refuse to let it...and I *always* find a way to
shine through.
I'm a very passionate person, there is no 'middle ground', I feel
and express everything with equal gusto. But I'm also very
cerebral...I enjoy my intelligence and creativity.
I write fiction and poetry, and for a time, wrote for a local
newspaper (what fun!!)...I'd like to make a living with my words,
one day...for now, I work in a machine shop and absolutely *LOVE*
it! I'm skilled with tools of all kinds...and there's so much to
do, so much to learn...I get to use my creativity and my
hands.
I'm the girl who rides down the highway with the windows wide open;
sleeps on the ground next to the fire; and can be dazzling in an
evening gown with perfectly coiffed hair in 20 minutes (yep...I've
timed it).
I find humor and beauty all around me, and have a deep appreciation
for all the small moments that make a life so grand. I believe
'facetious' is sarcasm with style and a high IQ.
When I look over the rail at the hummingbirds, they come right up
to my face and look back *lol*
I love thunderstorms.
I love the way it's always cooler in the woods on a hot summer
day.
I'm a sucker for a sweet guitar.
I leave misletoe up all year round.
I sculpt, make jewelry, all sorts of artsy things.
We make ornaments as gifts every year for Christmas.
I make my kids' Halloween costumes, too. ;-)
I love getting all dolled-up for a special occasion.
I love the way I can work things out, even the worst of situations,
in spectacular fashion.
I love to explore big cities, and then go back home and appreciate
being surrounded by the Green. I love camping, hiking, fishing
(yes, I bait my own hooks!), campfires, gardening,
hiking...anything outdoors.
I love to read, but haven't had the time recently.
I also like to play pool (badly), enjoy live music, museums,
libraries, daytrips...and long rides to nowhere.
I'm pretty easy to please...I can enjoy pretty much anything, with
the right company and/or frame of mind.
I've lived quite an interesting life, thus far...and while Simple
lives nowhere near here, I wouldn't change a thing...the
adversities we face, endure and overcome give us a deeper
appreciation for our blessings. A huge missing chunk of the puzzle
of my life has just fallen neatly into place, and so now, there's
just that "one" more.
I don't wish. I hope. Endless, eternal hope, a firm believer in
possibilities, with an astute eye for probabilities. I am naive, in
that, I'm an open book...honest, trusting, caring, and I don't
operate with ulterior motives or hidden agendas. I say what I mean,
after careful consideration, and speak with tact and respect. So be
careful what you ask...because you will get an honest answer.
What I’m doing with my life
...currently, trying to find the right path, trying to raise my
children to be good, honorable men, and trying to figure out just
exactly where I fit in.

The Grin is standard equiptment.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Ecclectic and varied.
I have an unhealthy obsession for horror and suspense.

Dostoyevsky, JD Salinger, George Orwell, anyone who can make me
think.
I also enjoy true crime, war movies...pretty much anything but
chick-flicks and romantic comedies.
Music, depends on the mood I'm in.
Food? It depends on who's cooking *lol*
The six things I could never do without
My kids.

And, well, my computer...because some of my dearest friends live in
it *lol*
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Mostly, I think about being a good example to my boys; how to be as
strong and successful as they need me to be...
Quite frankly, I spend way too much time thinking about way too
many things. My head hurts *lol*
On a typical Friday night I am
...plotting World Domination, and preparing my minions for Global
mobilization.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
