My Self-Summary
Recent college grad, volunteering with AmeriCorps this year before
grad school. I love cooking and making friends with people who love
to eat. Sometimes shy, often outgoing, I make friends easily and
care tremendously about the people in my life.
I'm in the process of learning Spanish right now. When I feel comfortable with the language I want to learn Hebrew next. And then some Yiddish, just for fun.
I spent a lot of time building with Habitat for Humanity in college and most pictures that exist of me are from the construction sites. I had a hard time finding any decent pictures of myself NOT at a build.

What I’m doing with my life
I liked every subject in school, but I'm a math/physics nerd at
heart (mechanical engineering). I'm trying to stick with the whole
"helping people" theme in my career. After grad school I want to
work on redesigning and improving medical instruments so doctors
and surgeons have an easier time doing what they do, and also
making health care more accessible to the people who can't normally
afford it.
I’m really good at
I like sitting around public places and sketching portraits of
people sitting. Like people watching, except recorded on paper. I
like painting murals too. I took art classes in high school and I'm
pretty rusty now.
I'm not really good at it, but I like swing and blues dancing. I'm pretty intermediate and still learning. Message me if you want to go or if you know a good place in Baltimore (I'm still new here).

I like most movies. I'm easy to please. Bonus points if the movie is ridiculously cool or if it makes me think about life for a few days afterwards.
Most of my music is on the mellow side of alternative rock and some indie (Foo Fighters, Guster, Incubus, Oasis, The Fray...). I have some old techno/dance and I'm starting a collection of big band swing and blues rock.
I love food and I'll try anything at least once (and some things only once...). Any ethnic food is my favorite - preferably something less common. I started learning how to make indian food this summer but I still have a long way to go before I call myself good at it.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, trees, buildings, the internet, movies, insects, what other
people are doing at this exact moment, what I can make for dinner
later, why the weather is so hot, and anything else that floats
into my head. When I see people driving I always wonder where they
are going and why.
