I joined the Navy out of high school where I became an air rescue swimmer and lived out in San Diego for the better part of 5 years. I loved it! I did 2 tours to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan and the experiences and friendships I developed there were amazing. If you want to know more just ask me-I'm open. After I decided to take what money I had saved and moved to Australia and Hawaii and just sort of backpacked for almost a year. Again some amazing times! I still feel as though the best is definitely yet to come though; I've been thru a lot of ups and a lot of downs, but yet here I still am pulling things off like I'm always seeing the world for the first time. It's quite an experience!
Smiles and fortune! I leave you with an awesome quote:
"For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."
