Moved to California from Florida for work and to escape the heat and humidity and ...flatness? Is that a word? Moving on. Needless to say I am enjoying the hills, cold weather, and dry air.

I can be kind of a random person, but I try not to let my ADD take hold too much. I play Hockey and practice Wing Chun Kung Fu. I read. A lot. I try my hand at writing occasionally, but don't really make a huge habit of it. I put cheese on my head to watch football, and a winged wheel on my shirt to watch hockey. I'm comfortable in most social settings and don't mind getting my hands dirty to help people that I care about.

As I said above, I just recently crossed the country from the east coast. I've never experienced an earthquake. It seems kind of terrifying and boring at the same time. I mean what's the point of a natural disaster if you can't throw a party during it? Hurricanes obviously trump earthquakes in fun. I'm looking forward to doing all of the stuff you can't do in Florida, like climb a mountain or leave the house in July.

I work in Information Technology as a Unix Admin at a company in San Mateo. I've love tinkering with computers and solving problems.

I'm always working on expanding my horizons educationally, mostly through books on different programming languages. PL/SQL and C# are on the docket right now. I am driven to success and love troubleshooting issues. I've started to pick up Chinese again, but am by no means even close to what anyone would call fluent.

I end up playing psychologist to my friends a lot. Apparently I'm a really good second opinion. Or first opinion. Or opinion. Whatever, don't judge me.

I would like to become proficient at a musical instrument. I own a cheap ocarina and wouldn't mind learning to play the drums.

Giving honest opinions, learning new technology quickly, getting along with damn near anyone, hockey, having adventures, getting into trouble.

I have a great sense of humor and a mischevious grin, I'm always laughing about something. Also, I'm CONSTANTLY singing to myself. I'm a walking jukebox.

Food: I have a weakness for pizza, but I'll eat anything. I've recently developed a taste for spicy food (comes from working with a lot of guys from India) and I really enjoy anything ethnic.

TV: How I Met Your Mother, Always Sunny, Scrubs, 2 and a Half Men, Doctor Who, Sherlock - I don't watch a ton of TV because I'm way too ADD to sit still long enough by myself and do it unless the show is phenomenal. There are, however, a crap-load of shows I need to watch. If anyone wants to have TV viewing parties, I'm 100% down. Also wouldn't mind being recommended some shows.

I also spend a lot of time thinking that bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes. They've got those hoppy legs and twitchy little noses. And what's with all the carrots? What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?

Out and about exploring and seeing what trouble I can get into with friends. Sometimes I like to relax at home and play video/board games. Or chill out and read a book.

I was in a movie once, a hilariously bad film called Pirates vs Ninjas.

I like to make a little game out of who actually understands what this question is asking and who says something silly like "if I put it here it wouldn't be private anymore!!!". It keeps me amused.

You can hold your own in a conversation, like to debate and argue about random topics like politics or science or god, and are able to hold intense discussions without getting heated. Intelligence is a must. GRAMMAR, people. Grammar and spelling.
