All 3 of my girls are in college right now and are slowly becoming more independent which has given me the time to dedicate to a relationship.

Trying to be the best teacher possible. Leaving the classroom so I can start "teaching" for real.

An ex once told me that I "give really good attention"... take that for what it's worth, but I thought it was a cool compliment...

I think I notice the small things and realize life isn't the family trip to Disney, it's the little moments. The way you screamed on a ride, got food poisoning when you tried a new restaurant, laughed like crazy at something silly.

If you're easy to get along with and have a decent sense of humor, I can usually make you smile...

My hair is almost pony tail length though I want to grow it long enough for double braids indigenous style.

I'm into nerdy stuff along with some cultural stuff...sci-fi/fantasy - big Orson Scott Card and Robert Jordan fan along w some Warhammer,(LOTR) and Star Trek, Parks and Recreation Rev, The Yard on Hulu, Ren Faires, all kinds of music from Celtic to Bollywood soundtracks....I have taught classes on the Aztec calendar and I'm currently trying to translate a dictionary from Aztec (Nahuatl) into English...

Shows - lots of comedy - who doesn't like to laugh?

Music - everything...would love to find someone to take Salsa lessons with...

Food - I'm pretty low brow - Sizzler, Capitola Diner, most places on Pacific a few places in San Jose, a couple more in Mt. View,

My classical guitar, Comedy CDs, interesting people for good conversation (politics, religion, gossip, dreams, hopes, idle chit chat), my students, and the belief that I'm one day closer to finding my "unicorn," intimacy with the right person :-)

What I wanna be when I grow up...always trying to be a better teacher, father, and working on myself so I can be the best version of myself.

The simple silly and arbitrary reasons why people close themselves off to other people...bad shoes, short hair/long hair, too tall/short...etc...

If I am out for more than a trip to RedBox or Little Caesars I'm probably w my kids checking out a bookstore or just driving them around. If I'm at home there's a really good chance that I'm procrastinating some grading by watching hulu or trying to create a secret society.

I enjoy the Bee Gees and ABBA more than most straight guys :)
