An easy-going, adventurous guy. West coast transplant, but very much at home in the DC area. By day, I work as a paralegal in appellate litigation, by night...I might be Batman (hopefully not Aquaman). You'd think the whole lawyerly thing would make me an overly-anal douche, but I'm laid-back and not easily phased. I'm respectful, assertive and aggressive when the time's right. Basically, I'm a balanced guy with a side of ninja ass-kicking. And I'm kind of a goof.

DC's been a good fit for me, and I dig how walkable the city is. I live near a couple of dog parks, which makes my walk to work pretty cool. I can be caught around town lounging at a bars with buds, hitting up a poker/trivia night, getting into a local event, or nerding it up at home.

If my pics and the sidebar details don't tell the story: I'm 6'0", 180 lbs. with a 31" waist and a strong, fit build. I have brown hair and green-grey eyes. I'm into martial arts, and I try to work out a little every day if I can. I definitely keep healthy (without being an obsessive dick about it).

As to what I'm attracted to, I'm generally down for a guy in his late twenties or thirties who's healthy and takes care of himself physically. Personality-wise, I get along with pretty much anyone, but I dig guys who are comfortable in their own skin. I'm a decisive guy, and dudes who similarly know what they want are hot. Yo, I'm easy to talk to. Just give it a go, dude.

Right now I'm a paralegal for the appellate practice at a law firm. My boss is the kind that meanders into the office at 10:30 in jeans...I WANT THAT. Law school is a definite possibility down the road, but I'm definitely happy where I'm at.

Martial arts. The dojo's a good way to keep physically active without ever getting bored. My surprisingly vicious roundhouse has won me more than a few sparring matches. I've worked in the past on getting self-defense courses for gay men set up when gay bashings were on the upswing in the DC area.

Also have a relatively decent singing voice. Sung a lot in high school and college. I can be goaded into some karaoke nowadays.

That this friendly, random dude is talking to them. haha. Comments usually follow about my piercing green-grey eyes. And that I'm a damn good kisser.

Shows: Top Chef, Morning Joe, True Blood (Ryan Kwanten's ass is reason enough to watch), The Universe, Rachel Maddow, and any cartoon involving superheroes and/or ninjas (my inner child is a nerd, and suspiciously gay).

Books: 1984, Amusing Ourselves to Death, Candide, Joy Luck Club, Life of Pi, Bakuman.

Food: Watermelon. And more watermelon.
