My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Onetime professional geek, New Yorker for life, using this thing. Liberal, atheist, meat eater; unapologetic Red Sox fan in love with New York all my life. Looking for the question to the answer (major points for catching the references).

Hey, look, no selfies.

Not a millionaire. 420 <*>
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Fuck if I know.

Professionally, I've been in business management for, like, 15 years. I currently manage a cargo bike delivery company in Manhattan. I also write about comics and graphic novels freelance.

Personally, I've hit the Big Red Reset Button on my life - like full-on Time Lord Regeneration - three times, most recently at the end of 2012. The past year or so has been a bizarre roller coaster and I haven't the foggiest idea in which direction my life is headed.

Which is pretty damned exhilarating.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking about my passions. Peddling a cargo bike. Not cooking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually the mohawk.

For skimmers: I really, really like Cheez-Its. And coffee. And Conan O'Brien. And curry. And canibus. And comics.

Hey! You! Let's get freaky at a rave or maybe mark out at an indie wrestling show.

I have impeccable taste in comics. Ware, Lee, Kirby, Huizenga, Fraction, McNeill, Moore, Los Bros, DeForge, Brubaker, Phillips, Ellis, Ennis, Urusawa, Tatsumi, Tezuka, Hickman, McKay, Ditko, Vaughan, Kindt, Aaron, Monroe, Moebius, Shiga, JRjr, JMS, about a hundred more I'm forgetting. Prose... Asimov, Clarke, Chabon, Morris, Tolkien, Bradburry, Adams, more.

Movies. Blah blah blah Hey, did you like Upstream Color as much as I did? There's like telepathic pigs and stuff.

Music. Here is a random list that I plucked out of the bowels of itunes: Abba, Antlers, Arcade Fire, Beasties, Beyonce, Black Keys, Cat Power, Chris Franke, Dennis Cahlo and the Change, Doom, Eminem, Ennio Morricone, Fleet Foxes, Florence ATM, Ghostface, Interpol, Johnny Cash, Ladytron, Langhorne Slim, Low, Lupe Fiasco, Lykke Li, M83, MIA, Metric, Modest Mouse, Mos Def, Neko Case, Nick Cave, Pink Floyd, Portishead, TV on the Radiohead, Queen, Robert Johnson, Santigold, Sigur Ros, The Sounds, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. And I heart Vi Hart.

Random Good Television: Babylon 5, The Wire, Adventure Time, Deadliest Catch, Breaking Bad, Cosmos, Louie, South Park, Frontline, Nova, Black Mirror, Dr. Who, Attack on Titan, Mr. Robot, Steven Universe and etc and whatnot.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
People tend to go overboard on these profiles, far too often tl;dr. (See also, Favorites, above.) I'd be happy to talk about myself (and you) extensively in Real Life, like over drinks and/or food and stuff.

Oh, I can never go without New York City. All else is secondary.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Adventure Time. Graphic novels. Science. History.

And the Fermi Paradox. That one bothers me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
a collection of atoms and energy that somehow make a human being.

And looking for my D20.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was going to mention that time in the mental hospital, but I think I'll just note that I'm an excellent shoplifter.

you'd like to. Or you'd like to get some tattoos. Or meet up for anything in real life. Real life is pretty awesome.

I'm open to something casual. I'd love to be surprised by something more.

Also, New Yorkers only. (Long Island, New Jersey, Staten Island and anything north of the end of the 2 train are NOT NYC.)

I believe (perhaps too much?) in the OKC Match percentage. Low match percentage need not apply.

Also, If you have tattoos or brightly colored hair or you are kindof weird or geeky, then you jump to the front of the line. Especially if you are geeky.
