My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let me preface this by saying I'm terrible at summarizing myself. Shooting for some brevity, I am a recent-ish college grad currently working in mental health. On my weekends, I march in a drum and bugle corps. Music is a big thing for me. I'm also into art (I'm a photographer and a painter), like going to NYC on occasion, and I'm interested in lots of different things. Oh, and I'm an INFJ personality type if that's your thing.

I'm here looking primarily for a relationship, because, well, I'd like to imagine that's the idea. I'm looking for maturity, intelligence, and someone that I could enjoy conversing with as much as I could enjoy going out to places with. Sincerely speaking, I think companionship is what I want most right now, and it would be wonderful to find that.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Graduated with my BA in Psychology with minors in Environmental Studies and Visual Arts about a year ago. I'm working as a DSP in a DayHab program, and I very recently moved to Troy, NY. Besides that, I aged out of WGI (indoor percussion) this past April, and I march drum corps in the summer. I'm also instructing Albany's marching programs throughout the year as a drumline instructor. Besides all that, just trying to get my bearings living on my own.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

(Or talking to people, using some quality vocabulary, telling some interesting stories, babbling on about philosophy, and doing things that allow me to tell interesting stories.)

In terms of appearance, the beard and the blue eyes, and that I'm in fact not the tallest guy they've ever met.

I honestly rarely watch TV, but if I do, it's usually hockey (or baseball, in case there is no hockey). If not that, usually either How I Met Your Mother, Eye Candy, or something on BBC like Doctor Who or Top Gear. Also watch the Carmilla series online. I recently got Netflix, so I watch Friends and HitRecord too.

I don't know where on here it would go, but I've also been hooked on listening to the Welcome to Night Vale podcasts.

Basically, I've got a really eclectic taste in music. Spotify is kinda the greatest invention ever.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Music, and the marching arts.
-Human interaction, because people really do color one's perspective of the world. As Bill Nye once said, "everyone knows something you don't."
-Good food. Self-explanatory.
-Ideas, because ideas feed the human engine, as I see it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why the fuck are other men off their rockers these days? (Not that this profile or any other is removing the "men are psychotic and sex-driven" stigma, but it'd be nice if the entire male gender could figure their shit out.)

If Bernie doesn't win, we're pretty fucked.

Am I going back to school?

Does marching for like the next 20 years sound impractical or...?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Driving to band, driving to New Jersey, dancing, skyping with far-away friends, or attempting to cook something I found on Pinterest. Y'know, same as everyone does.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sleep with my legs elevated at a nine degree angle. (Just kidding; I don't know the angle. Could you imagine?)

Or, if I sound at all interesting, if you want to talk, if you too spend numerous hours on Tumblr, or, y'know, if you want to. Im not here to tell people how to live.

Or, if you want to cook some absurd, awesome sounding recipes found in some weird crevice of the Internet.
