My self-summary
I've been described as easygoing, active, curious, passionate, honest (sometimes directly so), and adventurous.

I spend most of my free time practicing yoga, dancing (Cuban Salsa and Latin), practicing Reiki/aromatherapy/restorative yoga, studying Buddhism, and alternative health and healing, and being outside in nature. I tend to be very busy doing things that I love, and am working on balancing that with down time.

I am definitely a feminist, and race and class conscious. I'm passionate about education and social justice.

Travel and adventures of any kind keep life flowing. I've lived abroad (Colombia and Mexico) and would love to do that again.

I don't own a TV, but I'm not averse to vegging out in front of a good series. The Wire, 30 Rock.

Books are very important. Used to read The New Yorker regularly, and need to get back into it.

I try to eat healthy, unprocessed food- more greens, less sugar.
The six things I could never do without
"The cure for anything is salt water- sweat, tears or the sea."

Traveling again

Shifting my career to be more nourishing and in alignment with my passions
On a typical Friday night I am
dancing Cuban Salsa, curling up with a book, or at a dinner party at a friend's house
