Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A guy friend wrote this about me:
"If there's one word to define Bethany, that'd be connected.
Connected intrinsically with herself, her feelings, emotions and
extrinsically with her friends, her family and her community. Her
love for travel has taken her to places people only dream of going,
and her love of learning has enabled her to embrace yoga,
meditation and dance as her passion. She is the girl you'd go
swimming in the bay with, bring her to have lunch with your family,
and rock out at some epic house party - all in the same day.
Connected, communicative, trustworthy and so much fun to be around
- that's Bethany."
I'm looking for a smart, down-to-earth, free-spirited and reliable
man with whom I share a deeper connection of values and interests.
What matters most to me is intellectual connection (conversation
that flows), laughter and a shared worldview of compassion, love
and empathy. Chemistry plays into it too. We can figure the rest
out later : )
Some things I am into:

/ health and healing modalities / somatic therapy / tantric yoga /
education / photography / art / travel / social justice / nature /
hiking / camping / anything involving water / restorative yoga /
reiki / friendships and community / DIY projects / free spirits /

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as a psychotherapist/social worker at an alternative high
school, and study somatic, mindfulness-based therapy (Hakomi
method). I teach beginners yoga, and am passionate about social
justice. I was voted Most Prolific Reader in the 4th grade, and
it's still one of my favorite activities. I'm a Cuban Salsa dancer,
and enjoy Afro-Brazilian and other kinds of dance too.
I enjoy being at home just as much as traveling, tend to go to
farmers markets on the weekends and ride my bike around town.
I recently decided to make 1000 paper cranes, so far I've finished
about 100. Want to help me?
One time I started a cookie business when I lived in Colombia. My
friend and I made the PERFECT, taste-tested chocolate chip cookies
and sold them in parks where people hung out drinking and smoking
weed. We called it Las Munchies (with a Spanish pronunciation),
introducing a new word to the Spanglish lexicon.
