My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hmmm... I tend to be more of a `strong silent type' who doesn't necessarily talk much about myself, but does listen and support others. I'm just as comfortable chilling on the couch as I am going out for a night. Oh, and I'm gradually planning world domination. Don't fret, I promise to give you a place in the new world order.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working for the Army as a civilian researcher. I work on "Army Problems" that I can't say much about (other than it's all to support soldiers). In my free time, I run, read, practice aikido, fiddle with hobbies and take long walks off of short piers.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Tech stuff (though I'm usually behind on tech trends and can't stand certain software), planning jewel heists, math stuff, writing, occasionally writing haikus in odd places, and somewhat good at refinishing furniture.
The first things people usually notice about me

That i have a shaved head (mother nature can be fickle at times, so I simply decided to beat her to the punch). Beyond that, people quickly notice that I'm quiet and reserved (if you're into personality types, I come out as an `INFP'). At least, I am until I get to know folks, then I'm fun.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Generally, I prefer fiction / fantasy / sci-fi books; stuff like `To Kill a Mockingbird', or anything by Neil Gaiman and Kurt Vonnegut. Occasionally a history book (roman empire usually) slips in.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Physical activity of some sort. Good books. My hobbies (which may be considered `odd', so no judging when you find out about them). Baseball [the greatest sport]. My macbook. An internet connection.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to fill out open ended questions without banging my head against a wall until I pass out or have a vision about the answer; the differences between what I call shortcake and what every one else calls shortcake.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a form of color blindness [not sure the exact type]. I don't see in black and white, but colors appear differently to me (which leads to fun conversations about what color I actually see).
