I have a hard time talking about myself, as I'm pretty shy. My family is from Detroit, and I was raised in Chicago, so I still consider myself a Northerner. As far as a self-summary goes, I'm really tall, I like all kinds of music, and I'm really interested in art history. Art museums are my favorite places.

I'm a big girl, but I've got a pretty cute face. My username is from a Syd Barrett (Pink Floyd) song that I really like. I am an atheist, not necessarily an anti-theist, but I try my hardest to respect other's beliefs. If there's one thing I really believe in, it's the golden rule. I'd like to gain more than a layperson's perspective on science, as it forms the world around us, but I've never really gone further than my freshman requirements for college.

I've been a vegetarian for upwards of 10 years, but I don't care if prospective partners are or not. I just can't morally justify eating meat myself. If you can, no worries, I won't judge you. Moral elitism is uncool.

I'm nearly finished with my degree and I'm a bit terrified of what's going to happen after I graduate. Probably grad school. Anyways, I'm a free-spirited hippie child at heart. I collect vinyl records of my favorite folk/rock/jazz bands (Yes, I'm one of THOSE people). I hope this wasn't too disorderly, I'm a bit all over the place, but I'm really just looking for someone who shares some of my weird interests and wants to hang out and laugh and be goofy with me.

Right now I'm about to enter my senior year at UNT as an art education student. I'd like to get my masters in either art history or art therapy and eventually teach kids, because kids are fun. I know there aren't a whole lot of options with teaching, and it's a bit of a thankless profession, but I think it's a good fit for me.

Oh, and Mario, Mortal Kombat, and Donkey Kong Country. I don't have an SNES anymore, but I can school most people at platform games.

Height, dimples, eyes. I've got pretty huge dimples, and grey eyes. I also had surgery on my throat recently, and have a fairly prominent scar. It just builds on my street cred. I got a repertoire for badassery and such.

Books: The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, His Dark Materials, any Kurt Vonnegut, Lord of the Rings, I just really like fantasty fiction and science fiction.

Movies: Amelie, The Royal Tenenbaums, Tommy, The Wall

Shows: Tim & Eric, 6 Feet Under, Girls, Breaking Bad, Dexter.

Music: Zeppelin, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, CSNY, Beatles, Getz/Gilberto, John Coltrane, Neil Young, Marilyn Manson, I'll listen to anything and find something I like about it.

Food: Pizza
