My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
i'm a musician. i even have a degree in it. i play guitar. i can rip it on bass, and i'd kick ass at drums if i still had a set to practice on. i have a keyboard and i'm terrible at it, but i like to play with synthesizers. i'm good at trombone but i rarely play it. i like to work out so i have a nice body to abuse with drugs and alcohol. i manage a pretty nice restaurant (which has a social media we'll call it Shenaniganz) and one day i will open my own restaurant concept. i love to travel and i hope to one day have a museum worthy relic collection in my house. i speak english better than your teachers, spanish better than some mexicans, and a tiny bit of french and italian. i'm a narcissist, brutally honest, and a smart-ass. i love to play devil's advocate. i expect 110% from everyone around me, but i'll never ask you to do something i wouldn't do myself. i'm reliable, a stand-up guy, but i keep a serving of revenge in the freezer at all times, right next to my pilsner glasses and beer steins. i believe in survival of the fittest...and that most humans shouldn't be alive. i probably disagree with most of your ideas, but i'll fight to the death for your right to speak them. my political views are caesarian. i'm a hustler, and i belong to the church of funk. i believe in sex, drugs, and rock n roll.
What I’m doing with my life

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
i think i've said that i'm a musician and i have a certificate that says i'm awesome at it. i'm pretty good at cooking, too, and one day i'll be a chef. i'm good with languages, especially english. i like to think i'm good at adventuring. i think i'm a good driver but the state of nc disagrees. i'm very good at fixing things, opening jars, and getting things down from high places.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

books? no...authors! Thomas Pynchon, Neal Stephenson, Neil Gaiman, William Gibson, Julius Caesar, Elmore Leonard, Philip K. Dick, William Shakespeare (i know they were plays, but they're hilarious), JRR Tolkein, oh there's many more i just can't remember them all. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was quite good and frankly, zombies make Austen bearable. Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse was an enjoyable read. i'm not a stephen king fan, but i did read the dark tower series before he went on crack and started over on it. i like to read random historical and scientific books, too, like the Cycle of Cosmic Catastrophes, Banana, and 1491.

movies & tv? the Amazing Race is pretty cool, but too easy. ooooh and Hell's Kitchen (or anything else by Gordon Ramsay, for that matter) and Good Eats. i love to watch cartoons. i like spy movies a lot. samurai movies are pretty awesome, too. in fact, i'll watch pretty much anything with swords. i like sci-fi stuff, too...Blade Runner kicks ass. Total Recall, Minority Report, and Alien come to mind. i'll also watch anything with Humphrey Bogart in it.

music....ok i'm a musician. don't ask me this. my favorites are Nine Inch Nails, Mozart, and the Allman Brothers Band. i've also been listening to a lot of Derek Trucks Band, Beck, and Sly and the Family Stone, lately. i'll listen to any one who an kill it on a shamisen. flamenco is so bad-ass. i'm also a fan of organ fugues and Bach is the man. i've played in a punk band, a reggae band, a blues band, a rock band, a country band, a swing band, a symphony orchestra, and spent some time as a performing musical archaeologist. i've played in churches, bars, and on stage at 20,000 seat amphitheatres. i just bought some Bowie on vinyl. you know how people say they listen to everything, but later on you find out there's an "except rap" or "except country"? well, i really do listen to everything.

favorite food? anything exotic. i love haute cuisine, and I'm a pretty good cook. i've eaten everything from flaming lamb chops to raw oysters to snails to 24K gold. trying new things is my favorite! i especially love street food.
