Cheesy, but true.

Funny thing, right after this edit here, I started getting matches from Boston, Massachusetts. It didn't even occur to me why for about another month. XD

I'm an individualist young man living on my own in midtown Bakersfield. I classify myself as "indoorsy active/creative," I tend to keep busy, and like good weather/temperature, and drive an awesomely classy '84 Fiero SE (two-seater). On occasion I like to climb trees or rocky surfaces, go bowling or shooting pool, but for the most part, I'm usually writing, drawing, cooking, or making software dance.

What I’m doing with my life
At the moment, seeking out the endangered species of reasonably attractive, reasonably sober, available females in the Kern County area. It's not looking good, people. XD lol

Generally speaking, I find it's my duty in life to create and share as much fun and exciting things with others as possible. A healthy body does no good to a broken mind, or a broken spirit.

I'm also a financial planner/manager at a soon-to-open internet/gaming cafe/lounge. And I like to insert a lot of slashes/fraction bars in my sentences/statements.

I do some software designing/engineering as a pastime, and have a social life that seems to be in perpetual motion. But I can draw the "nerd line" and not bore people with details of that (unless you're interested). Lately, I've gotten a lot more into indie-development stuff.

In the past half a year, I've taught 5 people Algebra I/II, 3 people how to drive, 3 how to talk to girls - you know, like they're people or something, kickstarted 2 of my own software projects and contributed to easily 30+ more, saved and relocated two homeless friends, and there's a lot of dalliance inbetween. Honestly, I'm too damned responsible for my own good.

Of course, I'm a guy, so I think about guy stuff, too.

Everything. I must be absolutely perfect, because my test scores here say so. :D (/sarcasm)

The first things people usually notice about me
Apparently I look a lot like David Duchovny.
I have the kind of nose girls love to kiss. I don't get it, but I like it. I've been accused a time or two of having sexy feet. I am notoriously easy to get along with. Unfortunately?

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite book: Think And Grow Rich. Also Marvel Comics, and some graphic novels/philosophy books.

Favorite movie: The Fifth Element. Also The Mummy and Sherlock Holmes come very close.

Favorite shows: Bones, NCIS, The Mentalist and CBS's Monday night "Bang/Your Mother" block (or now, what it once was before they divided). Californication is also highly recommended as a hilarious sexual-predicament comedy, but one with the gratuitious sex actually included for once. Probably my new favorite show, because it's genuinely well-written, too. I also like SOME anime, but that's not a ticket to "instant coolness" by itself.

Favorite music: Classic Rock and Hard Rock. 80s music. And good Videogame Soundtracks. I also enjoy Techno and Rave music.

Favorite food: Fried/Grilled Meat. Chocolate. Cookies. Potato Chips.

(I love how people think that dating a vegetarian means you have to become one. Consider the upside: I can order a single, full entree and feed somebody with a totally contrasting sense of taste at half the price. Just be sure you kiss me BEFORE the food arrives, okay?)

Favorite video games: Dance Dance Revolution, King of Fighters, Mega Man, and Rock Band. Demon's Souls is a terrific adventure game, best I've played since the classic Legend of Zelda. And now, Catherine.

IMPORTANT GAMER NOTE: I am not a zombie. I have a life outside of my gaming systems, too. If you'll notice, most of these can be played in short, quick spurts. It's because I play less than 8 hours a week, now.

Favorite board games: LIFE, RISK, sometimes Monopoly or Cashflow.

Favorite card games: Spite & Malice, 13-card Gotcha, and Crazy Eights/UNO.

On another level, I go through a gallon of tea a day, so that's gotta be on there somewhere, too...

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Which of my half-a-bajillion projects or goals in my life I feel like working towards at the moment. I stay pretty busy, and am passionate about a lot of things I do, both creatively and things of a practical nature. Boredom is something I never have to worry much about.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Yes, it's most likely you HAVE met me somewhere or another. That tends to happen to me a lot. When you date, socialize, and work as much as I have, that sort of thing tends to happen.

I have not had a single boring/lazy day since a week before Halloween. My life is insane, exciting, full of terrific and interesting people, and always on the move. I never have to look for randomly interesting things to do, they just kind of happen around me.

My motivation in dating now is to make a cool galpal to share a fun, exciting, playful and active sex life with. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty more I'm capable of, but that's really all I'm looking for. Though I'm looking for somebody to spend regular intervals of time with, I am not looking to cohabitate with anyone. In all likelihood (aside from having children), ever.

I have plenty of close, healthy friendships and relationships. TONS OF THEM, even. Some days I can barely keep up with them all. What's been consistently challenging to achieve in dating is compatibility with my penis (it's kind of thick, at least 3 in every 10 "good dates gone well" ends up as friends for this very reason), and my taste in activities which is playful and kind of unconventional, maybe a little humility involved, but not really extreme or pain-oriented. Bashful/meek people think I'm too crazy for them, superkinksters think I'm too tame for them.

They're both kind of right about that.

I enjoy good discussions about things outside of sex too, I'm not a one-track mind. Just happens to be what I'm dating for.

I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–32
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, casual sex
You should message me if
...you aren't a weenie. And you know how to read.

I'm not looking for cam shows or porn sites, I have plenty enough of that myself, tyvm. Or to trade nudie pics, or exchange an unlimited amount of internet foreplay. I'm looking for something with real presence, involving real, consenting adults who are (at least mostly) of their own minds.

While I'd prefer locals, it turns out that's a rather endangered (possibly extinct?) species here; so as long as it's within an hour or so's drive, it's all gravy.

And YES, I am TOTALLY SURE that I am STRAIGHT. Sorry dudes, I've been there and done that. It's really not my cup of tea. I'm down with team sports and all that, but if there ain't a pussy waggin', then there ain't a point in faggin'.

Also, since there seems to be no discernable way of navigating there yourselves anymore, you should check out OKC's tests section, they're full of delightful and insightful goodies.
