My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live for my weekends! Movie nights in and taking scenic drives are awesome. I enjoy stimulating conversation and thinking. I try to make my time count for something on occasion; beach trash pickup, learning a new skill, trying something new and challenging; sometimes I make weird art projects and get messy in my living room, sometimes I make quiche.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've set roots in Hawaii - I've been here since 2009 and have a good job.

I follow a zen mentality of no expectations = no disappointment and believe that most dating situations have potential for greatness or failure.

My humor is wry. My friends are a handful. Family is important to me, we just don't live close.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Kickstarting my moped, and making up Bollywood dance routines. Scaring off men looking for a hookup
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am really into helping other people. I dedicate a ton of time and energy to my sport. When I'm really passionate about something/someone, I commit, and I'm loyal. Loyalty = trust + respect + honesty; I deserve the same.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like Wes Anderson films, classics and documentaries. I like books. I read them when I'm not stressed out and distracted by a bazillion life things.

Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Lykke Li, Bastille, Coldplay, Middle Eastern ambient, Lana Del Rey. Listen to most of the Beatles albums and some Rolling Stones. My music collection is vast and a little weird, but not too much weird.

I love food! I love dining experiences. Alan Wongs is a very special place. So is Leonard's bakery. I love Chinese, Thai, curries, Indian, Meditteranean, Morrocan, and condiments. Condiments are great.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
All basic needs. I really like my creature comforts, too, and if people get elitist and don't admit that, they're full of shit. Hot showers are fucking great. Also, always gotta have a goal.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Is marriage a broken system? Is monogamy? Altruism and honesty seem rare now, and that makes me sad. Will I ever pay off my student loans? Should I say that out loud, or not? Why aren't there more bike paths in this super warm, super sunny city? Should I quit my job and move to New Mexico? Is this the "good" life, or can I do better?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't know if I have a "typical" Friday night. Healthy mix of going out and staying in. Pretty much over the hangover thing though and the last time I 420'd was 1998.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am discovering what it means to have "self-interest." Previously, I was working on being "selfless," but that doesn't help to get your needs met. Life is complex.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You don't start a conversation with:

"Hey babe"
"What's up"
"You're hot"

I can't build on that sort of introduction. Thank you for understanding. Haha
