My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Here I am, a cute girl with this complex brain of traditional Midwestern upbringing and contemporary post-postmodernist philosophy! :P I enjoy stimulating conversation and thinking. I don't have a designer purse (or want one). Sometimes I make weird art projects and get messy in my living room, sometimes I make quiche. I make a great peach pie, but have manners enough to let your momma's home cooking keep the spotlight at a potluck ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've set roots in Hawaii - I've been here since 2009 and have a job. I don't even have roommates or live with my parents! A bonafide adult :D

I try to follow a zen mentality of no expectations = no disappointment and believe that most dating situations have potential for greatness or failure.

My humor is wry. My friends are a handful. Family is important to me, we just don't live close.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Kickstarting my moped. Making up Bollywood dance routines. Meeting the parents.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Eyes, Intuition (spidey senses), functioning brain, nice ass, nice rack! Package deal ;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like Wes Anderson films, classics and documentaries. I like books. I read them when I'm not stressed out and distracted by a bazillion life things.

Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Lykke Li, Bastille, Coldplay, Middle Eastern ambient, Lana Del Rey. Listen to most of the Beatles albums and some Rolling Stones. My music collection is vast and a little weird, but not too much weird.

I love food! I love dining experiences. Alan Wongs is a very special place. So is Leonard's bakery. I love Chinese, Thai, curries, Indian, Meditteranean, Morrocan, and condiments. Condiments are great.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
All basic needs. I really like my creature comforts, too, and if people get elitist and don't admit that, they're full of shit. Hot showers are great. Also, always gotta have a goal.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Is marriage a broken system? Altruism and honesty seem rare now, and that makes me sad. Will I ever pay off my student loans? Should I say that out loud, or not? Why aren't there more bike paths in this super warm, super sunny city? Should I quit my job and move to Nepal to help them rebuild? Is this the "good" life, or can I do better?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't know if I have a "typical" Friday night. Healthy mix of going out and staying in. Pretty much over the hangover thing though and the last time I 420'd was 1998.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am discovering what it means to have "self-interest." Previously, I was working on being "selfless," but that doesn't help to get your needs met. I spent a lot of years in relationships that ended, like many do. Life is complex.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You don't start a conversation with:

"Hey babe"
"What's up"
"You're hot"

I can't build on that sort of introduction. Thank you for understanding. Haha
