I may not have a soul, but I got something you don't... freckles.
My sense of humor has been self/other described as witty,
sarcastic, and most recently, sassy. I'm an awkward, kindhearted,
progressive, nerdy, rambunctious little scamp with a dedication to
the random and inexplicable, who can be found constantly quoting
the Simpson's. My natural state leans towards introversion, though
I can be fairly spontaneous, coming out of my shell on a fairly
regular basis. I'm a good listener and communicator, am very open
with the right people and expect the same in return.
Moved to FSJ about 6 months ago and I'm still working on meeting
new people and to find out what exactly there is to do around this
place in the winter
What I’m doing with my life
Working as an archaeologist. Gaining that all important experience
so I can one day return to the coast
I’m really good at
Outdoorsy stuff, sarcasm, plant identification, reciting random pop
culture references, listening, and riding my bike really fast!
The first things people usually notice about me
no soul, on account of the gingervitis
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I live my life based on the teachings of the Hitchhikers
Guide to the Galaxy. Sentimental favorites that helped widen my
perspectives: A Clockwork Orange, Fight Club, 1984... and so
fourth. I have also recently got around to discovered Terry
Pratchett, and have a new goal of getting better acquainted with
the Discworld. I also have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with
political science, from such joy inducing authors as Chomsky,
Jeremy Scahill, Naomi Klein, Chris Hedges... etc.
Favorite Shows, past, present, and future (if ever possible):
Doctor. Who, Adventure Time!, Dr. Who, Game o' Thrones, Doctor Who,
Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Freaks and Geeks, Battlestar
Music: My current musical listenings is all about
the Bluegrass. Though I still make the occasion time for some folk,
punk, metal, and one of my guiltiest pleasures, 80s synth pop.
The six things I could never do without
nature: camping, hiking, beach fires and general wondering
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The answer/question to life, the universe, and everything... also
the zombie apocalypse
