My self-summary
I've spent *most* of my life living outside the US... I mostly grew up in Turkey, but spent a couple years in Belgium as well. Did my undergrad in Maryland/Michigan and then joined the Navy. Spent the last 5 years overseas and recently moved back to the MD/DC area to work for about 3 years.

I like to write, but hate filling out profiles like this about myself. It always comes off sounding robotic and/or douchey. Apologies in advance!
What I’m doing with my life
Getting paid to travel the world and do computer & network security-type stuff and cranking out a master's degree.

Also just bought a house...and have recently taken to doing a lot of DIY-type stuff...even though I really have no idea what I'm doing, thanks Google/Youtube!
I’m really good at
I'm a huge computer nerd both as a hobby and professionally....

I love breaking things, taking them apart, figuring out how they work and putting them back together - I do a lot of reverse engineering. Hardware, software, and food...

I also love to cook (American, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Mexican and Italian) and I'm working on becoming a scuba dive master =)

The six things I could never do without
People always put down predictable stuff like "computer" or "Internet"....but considering my job revolves around it, I actually don't feel particularly naked without it... I have no qualms not being "connected"...Sorta realized after lots of third-world traveling that I didn't need technology to enjoy myself or keep abreast of the world...

But oh yea, six things:
- Morning cup of coffee
- Craft beer
- Wine
- Thai food
- GPS (you know streets in Japan often-times aren't named?)
- Intellectual stimulation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next career move....where I want to be in 4-5 years. Also, it tends to take me an inordinate amount of time to figure out what to eat for dinner...not sure why.

Also, always trying to figure out my next scuba trip.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out and about...watching dinner...having a nice cold beer...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a completely heterosexual man-crush on Gordon Ramsay and all of his syndicated shows (i.e. Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Hotel Hell).
