I really hate describing myself. I don't think there is anything I can put down in writing and go "Yes- that is me in a nutshell." I'm currently a senior in college, am a proud geek, and I would like to believe that I have a sweet if slightly tempermental nature.

The one thing I am sure of about myself is that I can be grown up and responsible when the times call for it, but at heart I'm totally a little kid. I love playing in the sand at the beach, Disney movies, and the American Girls books. So what if it means I'm a spaz, me and my inner child are very happy together.

Currently I'm working on a double major in psychology and theatre. I really want to be an actress but I always feel like it sounds ridiculous to say that out loud.

I'm pretty good at making people laugh. I'm very silly but in a good way.

It used to be my glasses. I got random people walking up to me on the street to tell me how awesome my glasses are, but I don't wear that pair anymore.

I am a hardcore Christopher Moore fan. I've read all of his books. Most of them twice. My favorite of his is A Dirty Job. I also enjoy Sarah Waters, Shakespeare, and Edgar Allan Poe. My favorite classic is Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera.

I have a really varied taste in music. I like musicals RENT, Little Shop of Horrors, Sweeney Todd, The Producers, Into the Woods, Rocky Horror, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Doctor Horrible's Singalong Blog.

Other artists/bands I like are They Might Be Giants, Blink 182, Bowling for Soup, Four Star Mary, Garbage, KT Tunstall, Tom Lehrer, and Zombina and the Skeletones.

My guilty pleasures are My Chemical Romance and Avril Lavigne.

My favorite movies are Chance, The Day After Tomorrow, Dogma, Hot Fuzz, Imagine me and You, Mean Girls, Miss Congeniality, Mr. Blandings Builds his Dream House, Serenity, The Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Carribean, The Producers, V for Vendetta, Who Framed Rodger Rabbit.

I'm a passionate television enthusiast... but I'm incredibly picky. My all-time favorite shows are Battlestar Galactica and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, it really changed my life. I also watch Bones, Chuck, Doctor Who, and Desperate Housewives.

For food, I usually enjoy simple dishes... I do not eat seafood, it creeps me out... and I tend to stick with just beef and poultry when it comes to meat. I love Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Italian. Marinara runs in my veins! I am working on changing my eating habits currently, I've put on too much weight but I've lost 15 lbs this summer.

My brother. I love him, he's very talented for someone his age. I'm actually kind of jealous.

I also spend a lot of time thinking about (and panicking about) the comic I'm writing and my hopes for a future acting career.

I also spend a lot of time psychoanalyzing fictional characters. I have a field day thinking about Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Kara from BSG.

Hanging with my friends and watching Dollhouse. Oh yeah. I'm a geek.
