My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Originally from Hawaii but I'm not much of an island girl. I like to wear sweaters, I don't like reggae and I never learned to surf. I went to art school on the east coast, grad school for creative writing in the midwest and then moved to SF where I've been ever since. I tend to be rather opinionated (but keep a sense of humor about said opinions) and feel strongly about many things that are not important at all, although not exclusively. I love the mission and I rarely leave it unless it involves hiking, camping, or eating some kind of asian food. I laugh a lot, especially when I'm having a good time. I like to browse used book stores, go thrifting, have dinner parties, watch old movies and finish home improvement projects. My dog is the best.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Becoming a graphic designer. I've finally found my calling and I love it. I also enjoy painting, building things, nesting, hanging out with friends, dancing, and taking care of my dog.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing things, building things, making things, standing around at parties or art events and making snarky comments, dancing like no one's watching, growing succulents, knowing obscure trivia, finding awesome vintage things, throwing dinner parties, making cocktails, accumulating, enumerating, noticing dogs on the street (or anywhere really). Also, school.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
L.I.P.S. I also wear a lot of sweaters and my glasses are HUGE.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you are an intellectual with nerd tendencies who still goes out and knows what to do at a dance party. sarcastic yet idealistic. you should like to endlessly talk about good movies/film/tv/music and have strong opinions about pop culture and/or art. someone who will argue ridiculous minutia while laughing until our stomachs hurt and then help me build something: furniture, websites, simple or complex machines, a great sandwich. and you want to rent a car and go on an adventure: ghost towns, hot springs, bonfires, secret camping, etc.
glasses and facial hair are both pluses! (no hard core burning man/circus types or hippies please. yeah, I'm a snob and I like it that way...) also, you must love dogs, esp. one who wants to lick your face. Please DON'T message me if you're looking for casual sex!

I like funny people. No, I mean really funny.
