Not trying to be anything I'm not. I'm inquisitive, enjoy hearing
peoples' stories. I can be a jokester, and have a dry sense of
humor at times - grew up in a family with some very funny
people.
Politically I'm to the left.
I'm looking for love, but also value my independence. I'm open to however my life happens to intertwine with my partner's. it's difficult to describe an ideal partner, but I know he has to be kind and thoughtful.
My main life interest has been music - studying, playing, singing, teaching, conducting childrens choirs. A more recent interest has been politics - or, attempting to figure out how the world works. I love the Occupy Wall Street movement. It would be great if my partner shared this interest, but it's not necessary.
I've been eating vegetarian for a couple years, but am not dogmatic. I respect everyones' eating habits.
New ways of understanding history and politics interest me. (This makes me sound like a high-minded intellectual, but I'm really just a regular gal - feel like i'm still 18 in many ways.)
