My Self-Summary

Now I don't believe you can get to know someone through a paragraph, but since it's required, I would say I am quiet at first, but warm up quickly. Music and movies are my greatest passions in life. I am young by age, act much older because I have had to deal with a lot more in the my short 20 years of life than most people deal with in their entire lifetime. I do have a disability, and therefore am in a wheelchair, but it has taught me a lot and is part of who I am and I am not ashamed of it. I don't really know what else to write, but please write me with any questions, even about my disability. I am open with just about ANYTHING :-) Hope to meet some cool people on here.

What I’m doing with my life

I am kind of in the middle of figuring out my life. I started college in film school and it was too physically challenging, switched to interior design which was also too physically challenging believe it or not, and so now I'm looking at things that I like and can actually do. Right now graphic design, animation, and game design are my top choices. However, in the next 5 years I'd like to fall in love, be loved in return, and eventually get married. Eventually I may want kids, but at this point I can't be 100%. Though I am leaning towards kids because I enjoy spending time with my two nieces so much.

I’m really good at

Computers (mostly Mac), singing, painting, math, electronics, playing instruments (bass, piano, alto sax, soprano sax, and singing), art in general.

The first things people usually notice about me

Unfortunately the first thing people notice about me is the wheelchair, which is why I meet people online, because then they can know me before the chair. People also notice the unusual piercings on my face. Sometimes when people get passed the chair and the piercings they see my smile, eyes, and bubbly personality.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Shutter Island, anything written by Augusten Burroughs, anything by P.D. James, and Persepolis (1 and 2)

The six things I could never do without

My iPhone, computer, car, my dads wedding ring, and socks and shoes (my feet are ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS freezing) (the shoes would also preferably be my Ed Hardy winter boots, they are awesome :-D.)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My dad, my future, falling in love, my nieces, my friends, school, and a MILLION other things. My mind is never quiet.

On a typical Friday night I am

Well I'm the only one out of my close group of friends who stayed in Colorado for college, so I spend Friday nights at home or with people I've met fairly recently. Movies, video games, and movies are usually in the mix. However I really want to meet new people and start going out more!!!!!!!!
