My self-summary
I'm from the bay area, moved to the Sacramento area 7 years ago. I don't have many friends out here. I love animals, working on cars and motorcycles, and good music. I like to go to places I've never been, but don't know what to do once I'm there. Someday I'll do a cross country road trip, I hear America's a beautiful place, so I'd like to see and experience it. I usually keep my opinions to myself, I don't see the point in trying to change someone else's views. I believe in morals, but also don't mind an occasional infraction of the law, as long as it's in good fun. I'm usually willing to give most things a try.

I am honest, adventerouss, and tenacious
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a Fleet Manager and Inventory Controller at a large plumbing service company. Lots of the work is hands-on and I have the opportunity to use my skills and talents on a regular basis. The work is often challenging, and that's what keeps me going. I perform well under pressure, I believe that's where I'm at my best. I am always learning something new, and will continue to. I am financially stable, and plan to keep it that way.
I used to be a drummer in a band, and I'd like to do that again. I recently got a guitar and am learning how to play that. I also have a handful of project cars that I want to get going again.
I’m really good at
I'm the typical fix it man. I can take damn near anything apart and tinker with it until it's as good as new. Often times I don't know when to give up. I'm also a good listener, that is unless I'm being lied to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've always considered myself subtle. I really don't know how to answer this.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm not an avid reader, but if someone suggests a book, I'll usually pick it up and not put it down until I'm finished. Most of my favorite books are by Stephen King. I haven't read one of his books I didn't like. Looking at my bookshelf, I see Classic Car magazines, auto repair manuals, a couple of Stephen King books, A speeder's guide to avoiding tickets, and Games People Play.
Movies. I can pretty watch anything that isn't stupid. I have very little patience for stupid movies. I don't have cable and watch little TV. Just sick of reruns and so called "Reality TV" The news is just depressing. If my TV is on, i usually have it tuned to This 58, the old movie channel, or PBS if they have a good performance on.
Music, I enjoy classic rock, rockabilly, old country, American folk, Irish folk. i don't own a lot of CD's, but here's a list of artists on my computer: Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen, CCR, Dire Straits, The Doors, The Dubliners, The Eagles, Hank Williams, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Rolling Stones, Social Distortion, Steve Miller, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, Wanda Jackson, Waylon Jennings, Jim Croce. My top 5 songs of all time are:
1: Hotel California/The Eagles
2: Superstition/Stevie Wonder
2: (second place tie) Vehicle/The Ides of March
4: House of the Rising Sun/The Animals
5: Brown eyed girl/Van Morrison
As far a food, nothing out of the ordinary, a good burger, steak, taco will do just fine for me.
The six things I could never do without
(In no particular order)
A car. I need my independence.

A job. I would go crazy if I didn't have something to do everyday, plus having money is nice.

A toothbrush. Gotta maintain oral hygiene.

My Mother. I am by no means a momma's boy, but let me tell you, when nobody else in the world was there for me.... she was.

Internet. I can't believe I put this, but when I think about it, I would be real bored without it.

Music. Those artists let you know that someone else has been down the road you're on, and it's OK to feel the way you do.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. Past relationships, lost friends, mistakes, good times, bad times, the world and how I fit into it. I think about my future and how it's a clean slate. The decisions I make today mold me into the person I will be tomorrow.
On a typical Friday night I am
Unwinding at home after a long work week. I'll have a drink or two to relax and catch up with family over the phone, or surf the web. I can be persuaded to go out if there is something interesting to do, but unless there's live music, bars are out. I won't pay a cover to watch someone press buttons and play music that I don't like in the first place. I have been to clubs and enjoy that, but won't go alone.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't make friends easily. I don't know if i have an anti social condition, but I always suspect that people just want to use me. Once I get to know somebody, though I can be quite entertaining, or so I'm told.
