My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
About ME.
I am fun and fun-loving, but if I feel like I am being taken for granted or taken advantage of...I will cut and run.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
making the MOST out of life! AND laughing a LOT!
and a lot of other things too....BUT....
we need to have something to talk about right?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
finding new ways to have a good time and get the most out of LIFE! I love laughing a lot :) ok I said that already....
SO.......these are things that I enjoy a lot (though whether or not I am very good at them...I guess that depends on the competition): running, rock climbing, road biking (distance to get where I want to be) dancing, hiking, skiing (water and snow, cross and down, in that order), star gazing (geek alert I was in astronomy club!), swimming, ceramics, singing and playing guitar (although the listener may disagree).....I enjoy dabbling in almost anything I can get my hands on, and sometimes like to just take it easy and do nothing.........but only if it comes before or after a long day of fun! and to be honest I work a TON right now (i guess that is life for now....for me) but these are the things I enjoy when I have a free day or couple of good hours.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't really ask that question very much....but I suppose most people comment that I smile a lot....I guess that is because a smile or laugh can be used in almost all senarios! I smile/laugh when I am happy, having a good time, or nervous and akward and just wanting to break the silence...so I suppose I smile a lot!
Because of this my smiles take a while to read correctly...but at least I will say that if I am smiling/laughing I am enjoying myself!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite books? wow I can hardly narrow that down to list....I guess I would have to say that the old classics are always a good read, I am a sucker for Dickens and Shakespeare, crazy about JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis, and get a kick out of Krakauer and Bryson, but my most recent amazing read was Forever on the Mountain a J Tabor experience.
Movies? I don't see many new ones....and don't have the time to rehash too many classics....but I am always in the mood for a good Starwars marathon if the weekend allows ('good' meaning 4-6 naturally).
Music? couldn't live without it! I love almost everything, my running mix stretches from ABBA to Lady Gaga and Shaggy...My normal mixes are also fairly eclectic I like Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, and Joshua Radin if it is a more mellow day OR possibly something new that I haven't found yet!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Easy.
1) Family and Friends (OK I cheated there....two for one)
2) LAUGHTER
3) Music
4) Travel (anywhere...and everywhere...whether that is down the block to sled or down the country to bike or to the other side of the earth to experience life!)
5) My BIKE (some manner of transportation is a must for me and I guess I would rather tote my bike around than anything else)
6) my senses....(taken for granted continually but they are much appreciated in my life, my work, my experiences, and travels so they make the list!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I try my best to stay in the moment....but if I am pensive it is likely due to something that very recently took place.
(unless I am at work, then I think about work---or daydream about nothing in particular while I attempt to 'look' like I am thinking about work!)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nothing I do is typical....every night is different but the fun and hilarity is always the same!

My current short list of Friday nights that I am craving include*:
1) bonfire with smores!
2) classic board game night :)
3) sleeping out in the back yard (if only I had one right now**)

*just saying if you want to get on my good side fast these are always good options/ideas for things to do!
**if numbers one and three were combined I might be in heaven!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
well I once was cooking breakfast for my friends, when I accidentally lit my foot on fire, saw the flame, left the room and 'dealt' with it (not forgetting to make sure my friend was watching the pancakes for me!), and then returned to eat my meal without any of my friends or roommate noticing that something was wrong...until later in that day when we were hiking around another National Park and I suddenly was no longer the fastest person on the trail, that was their first sign of an injury...I flatly refused to go to the ER.
stubborn? perhaps. self sufficient? for sure! imprudent? you be the judge.
