Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Thanks for stopping by for a look.
Busy professional, who is also a single father with sole custody of
my son. I love to spend time showing him all the great and
wonderful things life has to offer.
Here are a few things about me:
When my friend Todd (who happens to have the same birthday as me)
had one item on his to do before I'm 30 list a couple days before,
I made a few calls. He wanted to go skydiving, and so I invited him
to go for a motorcycle ride the day after our birthday (same day,
different year). We went on a back way "that I had just found out
about" and when I pulled off the road he thought there was a
mechanical problem. Still remember the smile on his face that day
and it is closing in on ten years! Ok it was a day late, but our
birthday was on a Friday that year.
As a veteran I believe that all Americans should honor our service
members regardless of your views on war. I donate time to two
charities that aid wounded veterans in the local area whenever
possible, even involving my son sometimes.
Certified to scuba dive, sail a boat, rappel out of helicopters,
and lots of other things, but still enjoy sleeping in on Sunday
mornings. Someday hoping to learn fly an airplane. Don't take the
above to mean I'm an adrenaline junky, far from it, but I enjoy
trying new experiences including some that get the pulse
I have never cheated on anyone, and never will. Expect that you
have the same view. Cheating and sneaking around is disrespectful
to all three people involved.
My son has a mother, and I am not expecting anyone but her to fill
that role in his life. When the time is right he'll meet you, know
the two of you will be instant friends.
In the morning I look in the mirror and like the person looking
back, if you don't please look elsewhere. Both of us should want
someone in our lives to complement each other, not complete each
other (FYI, it is amazing how many profiles I see on here where
people say they want someone to compliment their life,,, far
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
First and foremost, be a good father and raise my son to have good
morals, values, and a great appreciation for life. Beyond that have
a great appreciation for life myself and enjoy all the wonderful
things that this world has to offer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking (love to spend half a day prepping a great meal for friends
or someone special).
logic puzzles (honor graduate of a program at the NSA)
Reading (I'll read just about anything, "when I was a child TV was
known as books",, bonus if you know where that is from)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'll read just about anything, love to get lost in a good
I enjoy comedies, thrillers, drama, but could do without horror
Food (good food) is for me one of the keys to enjoying life. While
I love to cook, I also have a great appreciation for a great meal
out. Getting out and trying new places is something I look forward
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A couple good friends
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Resting from the week past, and looking forward to whatever is
planned for the weekend. With a six year old to entertain there is
always trouble to get into somewhere in the area.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I watch The Big Bang Theory I keep noticing items that I own,
Sheldon's hamper, Leonard's stereo... no Cylon toaster though.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You think we'll get along! Like most (real) people I'm much more
interesting off-line! Also, due to the large number of women that
have had to list "don't contact me if your just looking for sex",
I'm not. I want to get to know someone and actually know that we
like each other before sex comes into it. I can only imagine the
garbage that is being sent that has prompted you all to list that
You agree with this statement: Age in your mind is much more
important than the age on your drivers license. (I felt 30 when I
was 21, and still feel 30 today!) A driver's license doesn't make
you old, your attitude does..
At work every day I have to deal with over 200 emails, so in my
personal life I would much rather talk on the phone. So don't be
surprised that after we exchange a few messages I share my number.
