I grew up all over the southeast, but I consider Miami Florida to
be home because I was born there and all my family lives there. I
joined the Navy about 8 years ago. I'm happy with my choice given
the experiences I never would have had otherwise, but I'm not the
type that's going to go on and on or brag about my service. I
should however mention I will be deploying to Afghanistan in late
September. It's important to consider if you're looking for a
relationship with me as I will be gone for 8-9 months and upon my
return I should be headed to Brazil for the World Cup for about a
month. What else? I'm single, never married, and no kids. I've
always felt that I just haven't met the right girl. I think that if
I were ever in love I still would be. I am by all means open to a
relationship, but I do insist on taking things slow. I also want to
increase the size of my social circle so making new friends would
be my primary goal on this site given that I will be gone for a
while in the near future. While I have mostly dated blondes, I feel
like I won't be truly and wholly happy unless I am with a brunette,
especially one who has a latin background. They are my weakness.
I'm definitely a soccer nut. Hated it as a kid and then started
coming around about 5 years ago while on my first deployment to
Iraq. I don't need you to love soccer like me, but I would need you
to accept if not support it. ;-) If you are so inclined, I have two
season tickets to the Sounders and am always looking for someone to
take my extra. I finally decided to get off my (then) fat, lazy ass
and have been doing the Insanity work out since early May. I'm
proud to say that I am 12-15 lbs lighter now than I was in any of
my current pictures. My abs are almost where they were 5 years ago.
As proud as I am of my progress, I'm not posting a shirtless
bathroom selfie. I'm not THAT guy. Ask for it and it's yours.
The last girl I dated would often ask me what my flaws were. I'm no where near perfect and I don't aim to be. I'm also not looking for someone perfect, just perfect for me. It doesn't take a flawed person to appreciate your flaws. I'm looking for someone who is confident, classy, smart, and sexy. I want a partner who is my equal, my friend. I always feel like saying, "I don't like drama" is a sign of someone who often finds it or vice versa. Instead, I am looking for someone who appreciates peace and actively seeks it. I favor comfort(with passion and dedication) over excitement in a relationship. It's not exactly a secret, I am a hopeless romantic. I want to find someone who wants and appreciates it.
OH! And one more minor detail... I live in Bremerton, but I try to get over to Seattle as often as possible. Twice a week at the minimum. If you live there and think I am too long distance, be my excuse to come over more often. :-)
