My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Self summary eh? Well I'm the kind of person who will always tell you like it is. I consider myself to be intelligent, but I don't suffer from a bad case of hubris. I was stationed in Arkansas for 6 years but have moved back to Indiana. Friends are highly important to me as they should be for everyone. I have no patience for cheaters. Period. I hate raw tomatoes, root beer and grape soda.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just ended my enlistment in the Air Force and am now back home in southern Indiana. Ill be attending college after I get settled in.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Analytical thinking, trying new things, and listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well physically my thin frame would be the most obvious. More deep things would be my brutally honest approach to most. I have found that if you don't pussyfoot around with people you tend to get better results.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books- Naming authors is easier so here goes. R.A Salvator, Steven King, Robert Jordan, C.S Lewis, Tolkien, Terry Goodkind, Terry Brooks and George R.R Martin.
Movies- When Savannah Smiles, Lord of The Rings, Captain America, The Dark Knight series of Batman, Tucker and Dale V.S Evil, Patch Adams, Up, Despicable Me and Zombieland
Shows- Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, Berserk, Darker Than Black, Black Lagoon, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan, House, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic
Music- Anberlin, AWOL Nation, Atreyu, Armor for Sleep, Bare naked Ladies, Bullet for my Valentine, Brooks & Dunn, B.O.B, Coheed and Cambria, Dave Matthews Band, Drake, Flobots, Gorrilaz, Gotye, Nero, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Rise Against, Trapt, Walk Off The Earth.
Food- Italian, Sushi, Thai.... hell what am I saying, I will eat almost anything but I guess those are guilty pleasures!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Eyesight. The thought of being blind terrifies me to no end. It takes me like 30 minutes to put in contacts when I wear them! >_br />2. Freedom of Speech. I love saying what I think (while I do endeavor to be empathetic as often as I must), and never want others to be shackled in expressing their views. Even if mine differ, who knows. Maybe someone else could change my point of view.
3. The Interwebs. I use it on a daily to get all the info I ever need. Google challenges are a common thing among my buds and I.
4. My friends/family. I know these are 2 items but both are equally important. Your only as good as the people you surround yourself with after all.
5. Humor. I love a good laugh and people that I am around MUST enjoy it as well. No one like a stick in the mud, and to that point I laugh at myself equally.
6. Green. Seems weird but I have had to spend time in places where that color does not show up at ALL. It made me realize how much I love seeing trees and grass on a regular basis. I could never voluntarily live in a barren wasteland.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future and my family. It's a big world and there is so much to do still. I ponder what I am going to do with myself quite a bit these days. I have a job that is great, but I don't enjoy it. Benefits are aplenty and money isn't an issue, but I guess I just don't get no satisfaction. (LoL) So nowadays I think about how to reach my goal of becoming a BMET.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my buds/co-workers, reading an awesome novel, watching flics, gaming out, smoking some shisha, drinking some fine beers (not a domestic man at ALL), or depending if we get released from work SUPER late I might catch up on some ZZZ's.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was recently jilted and it has bit me pretty hard. I am a resilient bugger though and am not the type to brood over what someone else lost. My buds encouraged me to look for better people than her so here I am!
