My self-summary
Oh, these summaries. I'm an atheist. I consume cheap beer at the Monkey Pub in Seattle, WA. Play pool, poorly, most the time. Well, not the worst, but definitely needs improvement. I could care less about sports. I'm fascinated by the seedy underbelly of the world. I'd rather go to a dive bar or restaurant than some fancy place any day. My ideal restaurant/lounge/bar has a washed out waitress named Bertha, with teeth and fingers stained yellow from years of tobacco use. She used to strip as a lass, until she lost her looks, and now ekes out a living on the fringe of society. And there's always that one craggy old man at the end of the bar, with an unruly beard and some sort of unlikely fishing hat on his head.

I am erudite, irreverent, and inquisitive.
What I’m doing with my life
None of your damn business.
The first things people usually notice about me
I haven't the foggiest. My smile gets mentioned a fair bit. Though I think I smile more than is good for me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, Neuromancer by William Gibson, The March of Folly by Barbara Tuchman, Dune by Frant Herbert, anything by Raymond Carver, anything by Neil Gaiman, anything by Harlan Ellison, anything by Raymond Chandler, anything by Mark Twain. Oh, let's not forget Edward Gorey. Christian Bok and his book of univocalic lipograms, Eunoia.

Music: Tom Waits!!!!!!! Nick Cave, P.J. Harvey, Cat Power, Leonard Cohen, Chopin, Debussy, Jason Webley

Movies and Television: David Lynch, most especially Twin Peaks; Serenity and the Firefly TV series, the Daily Show with John Stewart, a god among men; House with Hugh Laurie, and speaking of the man, Black Adder from his younger days, with Rowan Atkinson; Donnie Darko, Secretary (My god, is Maggie Gyllenhaal unbearably gorgeous in that), Audition, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Leaving Las Vegas
The six things I could never do without
1. Tom Waits! 2. Air 3. Food 4. Water 5. The adoration of the masses 6. Books
I spend a lot of time thinking about
And yet, should my hands caress your sloping curves, your supple belly, and seek a softer place, what then?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know how to bake bread from scratch. Oh, and I do a LARP near Seattle called Mortal Tears based on WoD.

You know and love the music of Tom Waits. Or are willing to learn. And, you know, generally be an interesting and stimulating person. If you're smarter than the average bear, and enjoy smokey bars, cheap beer, and pool.
