I just graduated from University at Laurier after studying business (finance) with a minor in economics.

I enjoy sports, particularly basketball, baseball and biking, but will play/try/do almost anything. I really try to do some form of exercise every day, even just a a brisk walk on local trails to keep active.

One big part of my life is poker (red flags^). I've played for a couple years now pretty seriously, mainly online although I went to Vegas the past two summers to play at the World Series of Poker, and to the Bahamas in 2011 for another tournament series. It's kind of a love-hate type activity - the money is great (yes, I win [net], and no, I won't take your $100 and double it) but it can be frustrating at times. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it though. If you are anti-gambling, you should probably just click hide.

I am pretty interested in traveling to pretty much anywhere. Europe, Asia (Thailand), and Africa are all potential destinations. I've recently been to Peru and Uganda! Finding a travel partner on here would be pretty sick.

Right now, going to school, playing some poker, relaxing, and hopefully travelling a bit more.

-making a quick recovery, reflexes are pretty sharp, I may clumsily bobble something but more often than not I'll recover and catch it!
-thinking strategically and logically
-getting to class on time despite leaving myself half the time a normal person would leave themselves to get there
-poker
-doing things in high pressure situations

that I'm usually smiling, often at inappropriate times.

Books - Harry Potter, John Grisham books, Michael Lewis books (kind of overrated though), Freakonomics/Superfreakonomics.

Movies - Avatar, Gran Torino, Old School, The Hangover, 300, Lord of War, Thank You for Smoking, Rounders (really good poker movie), Amélie (to up my film street cred)

Music - All kinds, I admittedly like a lot of top 40 supposedly soulless trash.

Food - Almost anything, not really into upscale type restaurants or anything like that, I'm a pretty enthusiastic carnivore (steak, burgers, salmon are all great).
